Hello!! I am critique. You will be the first human I have ever critiqued on here so lets get started!!
1: Vision The wings of Lapis look very unique. I enjoy how you made them look almost feather like, and yet I can still tell they are water. How you made the wings shine really brings out the definition. Lapis's "tear bubbles" are also very beautiful. Her hair looks very realistic, her face has a lot of definition, and over all the painting looks beautiful. The only things negative I have to say is Lapis's left wing looks a little larger than the other one. And looking at the bottom the dark blue outline surrounding Lapis looks a little off. Both off those things can be easily fixed!! For the wing all you have to do is just erase some parts and make sure to keep using the flip tool! And for the dark outline you can try to blend it in with Lapis or make the outline match with Lapis and the background. 2: Originality It seems that drawing Lapis with her wings out and crying seems to be pretty popular. But as I said in the vision section her wings are very unique. not many artists make her wings look like actual bird wings when it comes to drawing Lapis. That's really all i have to say for originality 3: Technique I don't know why but in this critique I keep talking about the wings! Probably since they're stunning! Watching the playback I saw that when you draw you add shades onto her skin and hair, but after you blend it in so well you almost can't tell its there and yet without it it would make a big difference! Her hair and skin would look bland without it. Only thing is that you may want to give a wee pinch more definition to parts of her face like her chin. You don't have to of course, since its just my opinion!! 4: Impact Over all this painting is gorgeous! Her wings are stunning and everything else! You are a great artist and you keep making these masterpieces!! And that's really all I have to say.
Remember, I am just a grain of salt compared to the vast universe, anything i say or do can not effect you.
