error code c8804471
We suspect this issue is the result of the number of paintings you have saved in 'my paintings'. To fix this, you'll need to clear some space in there by deleting some paintings.
If you don't want to permanently loose your work, then you can back them up to your Gallery. Are you not ready to display them publicly? Select the 'private' option during upload and they'll only be visible to you.
Once you're ready to work on those paintings again, 'copy' them back to your device and continue from where you left off.
random strokes
This is a rare bug with the playback of a painting which we estimate effects about 1 in every 1000 paintings. Unfortunately, we don't have a fix prepared for this at this time.
Some users have reported that these lines are not present in images that are created with the Normal export size, so try that and see if you can get them to disappear.
incomplete paintings
Those paintings most likely hit the playback limit when the original artist created them.
We rely on the playback data to create the final painting images, and if you've downloaded a painting that hit the limit, you will only be able to see the content of the painting up to that point.
unresponsive play button
Some versions of Colors! 3D are affected by a bug where the painting's description overlaps the playback button and prevents it from being selected. We hope to fix this in an update, but we currently don't have an ETA on when that will be pushed out.
If you find a painting like this but would like to watch the playback, you can do that by first copying it to your device and then playing it back from 'my paintings'.
crash in 'my paintings'
Have you copied a painting from the Gallery only to discover that it can't be opened and crashes your system? We've seen this ourselves, but do not have an explanation or fix for it at this time. We hope to fix this in a future update.
