@kaiisakaizi draws stuff sometimes. But all of the time they're stil an awesome artist with a charming style with an easily recongized style! Also they just had a birthday a few days ago! Let's wish them a happy belated birthday and as a late gift to them how about we all enjoy this interveiw!

"Well my name is Soda and I'm cool I promise!!!! I'm mostly interested in animal crossing right now, as you can probably tell from my gallery.."

Your style reminds me some of the cartoons I grew up like the Powerpuff Girls and a few others! What would you say inspired you to draw and begin your art journey? What motivates you?
"When I was very young, like a toddler I think, I doodled a lot, my parents told me I was really good which encouraged me to draw more. When I was 10 or so I started watching a lot of anime and it made me want an anime-like artstyle! At one point I stopped drawing for a bit until I became friends with @lampyridae , and they inspired me to pick up art again and I've been improving my artstyle since then to become what it is now!!!"

How did you discover Colors Live? What made you join the community?
"My parents got me Colors Live as a present in 2020 after I first got my switch, I drew on it a bit but never made an account because I didn't have an Email address at the time."
"My friend @jexlo got Colors and made an account and was talking to me about it, so when I finally made an Email account I made a colors account. After making my first post a bunch of people were completing my artstyle and I got 100 followers in like only one month so I kept posting."

Do you use any other software or mediums? What do you use if you do? What features from other software would you want to ever see in Colors Live?
"I mostly use Procreate. A feature that I often take advantage of that I don't see on Colors Live is the filters. Like noise, sharpen, bloom, chromatic Aberration, etc. I also would love to see a feature where we can circle something and flip it, instead of having to flip the whole drawing."
That Colors art of yours are most proud of and why?

I really like this drawing because of the colors I used and just the way the character is designed. The drawing is super cute and I feel that it shows my artstyle really well!!

I really like this one mostly because it's Scott Pilgrim fanart, This is fanart for the show (I don't like the show) but I really like the books. This drawing is also really aesthetically pleasing and the shading is so good!!

Who're your favorite artist of all time both on and off Colors?
"My favorite artist off Colors is @FlSHfish on Twitter/X !! Her art is like a big inspiration for me and I have a million of her drawings saved on my phone. My favorite artist on Colors is @doghalo !! I don't know what it is but something about his artsyle is so appealing to me !!"

Happy belated birthday! I hope you had a good birthday! Did you have a big party or get any cool gifts?
"I didn't have a party because it was a school day but I got an iPhone, a new Nintendo switch (my old one was busted), And a guitar!! Which is so cool I've always wanted to learn guitar."
What goals or plans do you have for the future?
"I'm not sure but my art related goals are to get a more detailed artsyle! I want to have one of those artstyles that are like sort of realistic but still cartoony like @FlSHfish on twitter."
What would you say is your biggest strength? What's your biggest weakness?
I think my biggest strength is my patience!! And I think my biggest weakness is how I can get super jealous about like everything and frustrated when someone is better at something than me.
Any advice you could give to other artist, art related or not?
Advice that I'd give to another artist is to draw a lot. One reason why my artstyle is good is that I draw a lot every day so my artstyle can keep developing !!"
What do you think it means to be an artist? How does one exceed in art?
I think anyone can be an artist. I think the best way to get good at art is to look at other people's art and figure out what you like so much about their artstyle, and find an original way to incorporate it into your style. (Not stealing it but taking inspiration)

"I developed my artstyle by constantly drawing and scrolling on Pinterest and finding art that I liked and taking inspiration from them. My biggest inspiration currently is @FlSHfish on twitter (oh em gee how many times am I gonna mention her)."
