Colors Gallery, meet alrightymoose
@alrightymoose is relatively new here on the Colors Gallery and they've already made a mighty impact! They are known for their love of animation, movies and video games! Now it's time to learn about them!
Alrightymoose who are you? What do you feel like sharing about yourself?
"I started in the industry eight years ago, at a young age I always drew alongside my Dad and Mom who have inspired me greatly in ways i cannot describe. They both have worked in the TV and Film industry, and drove me and my art to what I draw now, I have focused my passion to improve my art as best as I can, and I still learn everyday."
What inspires you most? We see that you're a big fan of games, movies and animation!
"Because my parents are in the industry, they provided a great deal of encouragement and pushing me to do my absolute best. Watching 2D from great animation masters, the inspiration stuck with me of wanting to reach those levels of talent."

Follow-up question: What's it like to have parents in the industry?
"It's quite surreal! It's fun knowing how things were done behind the scenes, things that don't go to the public, and more! And getting extra experience from learned mistakes, tip and tricks that also helped my art drastically!"
You're pretty new to Colors. What made you join our humble community? How did you discover it?
"I first discovered Colors when I heard there were potential art programs on the Nintendo switch, I was excited about this program because it allowed me to express my talents with its variety of artistic freedom."
You make some awesome cartoony artwork in Colors Live! Is Colors your primary way of making art? How does it compliment your workflow? What are your go-to brushes/tools? Any new tools you want to see in the future?
"Colors offers a great variety of expressing my artistic expression, whether its on the go, or in studio. The diversity of this program is impeccable, the multitude of options and tools that this program offers is a ground breaker. I'd like to see a update where the program works when the switch is in dock, possibly a white highlight to know where you're scrolling with the controller. I use the sketch tool, for my sketches, Classic hard for line art, and select-fill for color, and bristle brush/soft brush for shading and highlights."
Are indie games your favorite? You fanarts are really awesome! What are your favorite undies? Any upcoming games that you're looking forward to?
"Spiritfarer represents a beautiful example of visuals, animation, and story. Psychonauts, hat in time, and night in the woods, are just a few that i have in my pocket. Upcoming games that i am excited for would be Studio Finji's supposed new Night in the Woods game!"

What artworks of your are you the most proud of?
"From my current posts, "CAUGHT IN THE MOMENT" and "lets take a moment" as some of my personal fav works :)) BUT I have so many other original pieces that i hold close to my heart, such as original characters that i would love to share a lot more, yet i have deep concerns of art theft."
Favorite colors artist? Favorite artist off colors? What do you like about them?
"I would say my favorite colors artists would be @Ruffie @Rob_Boss @Cinninut @gorgonzola @Liegecum and @mawchops to name a good few. Legendary inspirations that have inspired me have been people like Tex Avery, Chuck Jones, Eric Goldberg, James Baxter, Pendleton Ward (creator of Adventure Time) and Takafumi Hori (Animator from Studio TRIGGER). Each brings their own unique talents, and creativity from different perspectives, which has inspired my art to what it is now."
Top 3 favorite colors artworks that aren't your own?
My top three favorites, although it was very difficult choosing them, would have to be..

Any advice you want to give out to beginners or artist of all skill levels?
"NEVER. GIVE. UP!!! I can never stress this enough, growth is painful at times, but thats how we break through to reach new levels. Nothing masterful is given to you on a silver platter, you have to work for it, just as other legendary creators have. Nothing arrives to you overnight, it takes dedication."
How did you develop your style? What motivates you ?
"We all eventually arrive at our own unique style of art, even I am still refining my art style, and I too, will eventually get there, until then just enjoy the ride!!"
If you could bring back any long-dead franchise, what would they be?
"Some franchises that I would love to see come back include, 2D, which is very important to me, the return of 2D would be a great asset. Series like Steven Universe, Sam & Max, and the Golden Era of quality 2D animation."
