How did you come across Colors Live? What made you stick to the community?
{How did you come across the Colors community?} "My friend who’s actually a user on Colors told me about it! After thinking it over for a bit, I downloaded the demo!!"
"If you look back to my first painting (You don’t have to go that far.. lol) You can see that my first painting was just a “Hi”, and how I explained that I wasn’t really there to post."
"After a bit of scrolling and exploring the gallery, I was motivated to try and draw, So I played around with features, Finding my new best friend on Colors!"
~The Pixel art tool~ "So later that day I purchased the full game, And tried drawing and posting! Everyone left such kind comments.. Which is what really motivated me to stay and try it out for a bit!!"
Hi. by Telecaster_
What other software and mediums do you use? How does Colors Live fit into that? Are there any features you want to see in the future?
{What other software and mediums do you use?} "As for other platforms, I’ve tried Procreate, ibis Paint X, Sketchbook, and Krita! They’re pretty complicated and have lots of buttons to use if I’m being honest."
"But Colors live has pretty simple controls for tools, which is pretty nice!!"
"I’d really like to see a text tool,, I think it would be pretty cool, for like textboxes and stuff!!"

{Favourite artists on and off Colors} On Colors... There’s so many to chose from haha! But to name a few @Sandman02 & @Wind_Waker are my biggest idols, Their pixel art pieces are simply breathtaking, I hope to be as good as them someday!!
Off Colors my one really big idol is Kirokaze! They're my biggest inspiration for pixel art!
What goals or plans do you have for future?
{Goals and plans} "For goals and plans, I really want to try and develop my own artstyle, one that isn’t pixel art. So I’m going to try and practice on some other platforms and experiment a bit!!"
What makes good pixel art in your opinion? How does it differ from more traditional artwork?
{What makes good pixel art?} "In my honest opinion, I think little details and time taken on pixel art is what makes it good!! (Something I need to work on haha..) But I think the most important thing to making good art is to enjoy doing it!!"
"Art is meant as a way to express yourself and relax, it’s meant to be fun!!"
"I think it differs from traditional art because of its unique look and design. Different artstyles and designs gives the art a different feel!!"
Any artistic advice? Particularly when it comes to pixel art?
"I’m not really that good or experienced haha, do don’t take my word on this, but my advice is: Take your time and have fun!"
"As I mentioned before, art is meant to be a way to express yourself and relax! There’s no point in doing art if you don’t have fun!!"
If you suddenly woke up trapped inside of a video game how would you feel? What game would you want it to be?
{If you were woke up in a game} "I’m pretty sure I would be pretty worried or weirded out at first, but then afterward I’m sure I’d fangirl or freak out haha!!"
"I think I would personally love to go into any of the “Legend of Zelda” games, It’s an open world game with plenty of opportunities to go on adventures or explore!!"

What's the key to being successful in whatever you want to do in your opinion? Why do some people stagnate while others succeed?
{What’s the key in being successful?} "I think patience really is it. Rushing through and not paying attention will do you no good! Just slow down and take your time, focus is key!!"
Discord question from @jikkermanccini: Congratulations on Artist of the week! I have a question for you, how did you learn how to do such clean pixel art?
"Thank you so much!! I think the key was practice really! I started off with a website online, tried drawing with references, and found out I love pixel art! After that I started developing & experimenting, then finding my own pixel art style! I usually like to practice or sketch on graph paper!! It really helps!"
Discord question from @Saturn: I have a question. How do you do ur pixel art?!?!? It's so yummy and pretty
"Aaaah thank you so much!! I actually do various rough drafts on graph paper, then afterward actually drawing it on Colors! I say it’s good to start off with references then go from there!!"
Discord question from @EeveeEthan: Do you usually start with max size pixel brush or a standard line brush for your pixel art?
"I say it depends on the painting really! But when I first started, I used a more bigger sized brush, it involves less detailed work, I feel like it’s easier haha!!"
"Thank you so much for this Zyik!! I’m honoured to have such a grand opportunity!!"
