@Cupcake4me it's time to learn a couple of facts about you! What's your story? Who are you?
HIIHIHIHI I'm Cupcake4me or Cuppy 4 short. I'm just ur average 5844 and a half day old girl cupcake. I love to sing, draw, watch anime, and do oragami. My story starts in New Jersey which I was raise till now. I started to draw after my grandpa passed away. He and my mom taught me a lil bit of Kung-fu. My last words to him was I'll miss his pancakes lol. He was the greatest grandpa ever. Anyways I love ANIME SO MUCH. My first time watching anime was when I was 3 my mom had Vhs tapes of these shows and I use to watch it with my big bro all the time. My first animes were Tenshi Muyo, Trigun, Ranma 1/2 ( the original) and inyuyasha. Anyways I have 9 siblings 3 on my dad side and 6 on my mom. I love all them so much.
Like cupcakes, your style seems to have tons of different sweet flavors! From the way you do your lines to the vibrant use of color! What would you say are your inspirations? What started your art journey?
Most of my family drew when I was growing up so I got into it. I started to love drawing when I was in 3rd grade. I was knowed as the art kid in my class and I LOVED it. When my family found out I like drawing a lil' to much they bought me a lil sketch book not any bigger then my 8 year old hand. I also didn't get my official art supplies till I was going to 4th grade when my ELA teacher noticed I loved to draw so she gave me a disney princess marker set.
My biggest inspiration when I was still growing was my lil sister ( @forsakenLOVER ) and a girl from my old school. Her art made a huge impact on me she's one of the reasons I started to draw more full body characters. Once I got my hand on a phone however I found a great youtuber called @GinjaNinjaOWO on youtube which I still watch them and I love their whole style and the way they simplify proportions on their ocs.

So how'd you end up on Colors Live? What're your favorite things about the app & the community?
Instead of me finding colors, it found me if it makes since. I was watching someone called Brad Colbow when a video 4 colors popped up on my screen. I was in disbeilf when I saw it was on switch and switch lite. During that time my tablet broke so I was looking 4 something that was an alternative to ibis paint. So I was looking it up but I seen that my lil sis had the demo downloaded so I decided to do the same. I was so happy to see it was a actually decent art app on switch. I was sad that I didn't have the stylus nor full game.
But I was happy anyways cause PEOPLE COULD SEE ME I was jumping with joy when I saw post near my drawing and that was my first time ever posting on colors. I love and hate the community it makes me sad to see people get mad over stupid things and i hate how many people on colors are either pedos or lil children. But it does have it best parts like the part where u can met people all across the world and share things with them and sometimes u met people who actually understand you and actually like you 4 you lol.
Your gallery has made some significant strides since you've joined us! What is your artistic process? What's some art knowledge you've picked up on that's been the most helpful as you've improved?
So my artistic process changed a lot from when I started so my process is first inspiration I like to go on pinterst and sometimes google and look at my favorite artist or I screenshot pictures from colors and use it as inspo. Next I like to block out a silhouette with the sketch brush at maximum size and kind low opacity to map out the proportions usually I really find it helpful. Next I do the first sketch/draft if I like it I finish with base colors then rendering. I'm not really clean with lineart so I usually render over it and fix the lines later or not at all.
My favorite tip for art is to use silhouette and dull colors it may seem like it doesn't make since but hold up listen. The silhouette helps with planning out the proportions so if u mess up on it u don't have to start over u can just erase and blob it out (sorry if this is confusing) Now for dull colors you don't have to read this part it just my preference but I like to use dull colors that aren't the focus or are so I use it on eyes, skins, and some accessories.

What's a dream feature that you'd want to see implemented in Colors Live/Colors Live 2 at some point?
A dream feature hmmmmmmmmm.......... I really REALLY need some way to rotate my canvas it will help me with my art ten folds lol. Also folders, animation tools, and new texture brushes would also be fun oh and more adjustments to colors like color balance or even curve tool. Also I saw that their use to be a button so you can go into ur account instead of going to the gallery I hope for that to come back cause my stuff lags a lot.
Do you use other software or mediums? How does Colors Live fit into your process?
Actually I have a notebook and a Xppen tablet that I won in a giveaway. I don't use them much since 1 the device I use is pretty old so I wanna to start doing commissions so I can get a new one that runs actually art apps instead of a website I use called kleki. I use to use magma but it wont run on it anymore. 2 I really like to read people reactions to my drawings on colors especially when I draw friends ocs it feels me with great joy. 3 my finale reason is cause my computer sucksssssssss and I'm scared to start off some where new. I do have a instagram and twitter account but I don't use them that much.

Who're your favorite artist on and off the Colors Live community? If you could adopt their style or part of their style into your owns for a day, which would it be?
My favorite on colors is @Pear-60, @GINEHEN (my granddaugthers), @mikkka , @Kurumiiii , @Crispy_Mctwisty (my alnst girlies) @tsuna-mayo and @zoni_lilly I have many more just to name a few on colors.
Off of colors gotta be Mika pikazo, Yoneyama mia, Yeej-chan, Matchach on twitter, ASK, Orb, ginjaninjaOWO, Yuumei Art on youtube pls subscribe to her guys, sheun_art, U_sihoo_S2 , and color verse. Most of them are on youtube and I do have many more I look up too but then will be here all day.
And the artist would be Yeej-chan I love her style and I absouletly love the way she does lighting its beautiful I hope to be as good as her one day.

You seem to be REALLY into vocaloids! What're your favorites? How did you get into them?
GUYS I THINK I JUST GOT CALLED OUT. But anyways my favorite design wises gotta be Neru and teto and song wise is neru and teto and all together its neru and teto. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.
But I was first exposed to vocaliod in a game called FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN or fnf i know its lame like really lame but I after that I ran into a game called groove coasterwai wai party trail version that I got to listen to her music again i absolutely love her voice I know she's a ai but she one of my favorite artist (other than teto and oliver) I also listen to a song called abnormality dancin girl at the time too (this is before I knew what colors was) I was really into it then mesmerizer came out and now were here.

2025 is over halfway over! What would you say are your biggest accomplishments of the year so far? Also what plans and goals do you have for the near or far future?
My biggest accomplishments rn is making a dtiys and not scraapping it, learning color theory, moving from NJ to NC and getting my own room AND ACTUALLY KIND OF DRAW MEN.
My biggest goal is to get better at coloring, rendering, and men anatomy I also wanta decorate my room with my plushies and posters. Also wanta do commissions by the end of the year since I'm tired of being a broke loser. I also wanna buy a new computer to start making youtube videos and sharing my art journey on it.
Outside of art, what would you say are your biggest passions? Care to share what that might be?
My biggest passion I want to get really good at is my memory and oragami. I very much hate getting blamed for things with very little evidence so I wanna work on my memory cause I forget a lot of things like a snap of a finger and poof it's like it never happened. Also I wanna get good at oragami 4 my great grandmother and my dad. I like making cranes 4 my gg cause it make her happy. Most people knows about my dad he's always in and out of the hospital cause of his hard head and not listening to the doctor I give him cranes every time I go to the hospital (or at least use to) and I'm glad it makes him happy too.
I also want to do 100 cranes 4 a wish or at least try. I know it's silly.

What's some random bit of life advice you care to share?
I haven't really lived life, I've been living in a house since lock down but here's one thing I've learned. Do what feels right to you and no matter what remember that their someone out their who loves you. I never really had friends and when I did I cling to them like a newborn to there mom I didn't like going home cause they made my day a heck of a lot better. But now that I dont have them I feel lonely and I don't belong around my siblings I love them but most of the time there misunderstanding between us.
That's why in July I was going to do something terrible to myself but remember my friends and loved ones on how it would affect them. Then a lil' pineapple made a post of her favorite artist and I felt that people actually look up to me so please try to think about how people would feel as well as yourself. I'M SORRY 4 RAMBLING GUYS.
Cupcakes of all kinds are great! But if you had to choose one flavor you could eat for the rest of your life, which would it be? Also, are you into baking?
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES. But 4 the rest of my life it's gotta be banana pudding cupcakes, my neighbor made it for me once.
Sadly no, I'm not allowed in a kitchen let alone around fire and knifes. I usually hurt myself so I'm only allowed to touch the microwave :(.
Being burnt out is no fun... When in a slump, what do you do to pass the time while you recover? What gets you back in a creative mood?
I like watching speedpaints or play horror games it's fun to me it calms me most of the time. I actually have art block rn thats why I chill on my alt most of the time. I also like looking at friends new posts. I love to see my peers being creative and I love listening to music and think of how my oc would react to it. I love doodling my oc's too it helps me think what they do, why they do that, ect.

My artstyle is a combination of many artist I look up to. Sadly I can't name all of them, but it was also influenced by many animes I watched since I was 4017 days old like demon slayer, AOT, fire force, and many more.

How'd you improve that much in a year?
I found new things I wanted to study and also got books 4 it from my uncle and my mom. I would pratice everyday in my notebook on my switch or a random piece of cloth i found. I also looked a tutorials on the things i was learn. I hope this helps.
