1.) @Crispy_Mctwisty welcome to 2026! Tell us about yourself! What're all the twist and turns of your story?
I just wanna start w HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS !! My name is Crispy i'm Mexican and part Filipino! I love drawing my ocs and I got a pretty inconsistent artstyle ^_^

2.) Your style is is more than just crispy, the pastel colors really pop too! What would you say are your biggest influences? Franchise you grew up with or got into recently that really left a mark on you?
I grew up with watching lots of cartoons and started watching anime in 4th grade. I think my inspo used to come from the Dork Diaries books lol and slowly started shifting into a more anime-ish style or Omori-like artstyles. My current inspo comes from multiple artists on here and from other platforms!

3.) How'd you come across Colors Live? How has the community been to you so far? And what keeps you coming?
I came across Colors around late 2022. I got it as a Christmas present from my Tia! I didnt use it as much since i was so used to traditional art but after some practice and discovering the community, I began to use it more.

4.) Do you have a process? How does your creative flow go? What do you do when planning out a drawing?
So I noticed when it comes to digital, the sketch used to be my lineart.. and then I started doing lineart and recently I'm back to "the sketch is my line art" again:sob: I LOVE to render hair! I do 2 renderings but the 1st one is in the flat layers for sum reason ToT
Whenever I get ideas, its so random sometimes it just appears in my head and Im like I HAVE to draw this and the same for animatics too.
5.) 2026 is here are and we hope to have more Colors Live news to share in the future regarding updates! What are some dream features that you hope make it into future updates or a new iteration of Colors Live?
Hmm.. I would like textured erases like soft or bristle to match the other ones bc it sometimes looks off especially w the soft brush. A TEXT TOOL!! I rly like to make lyric drawings n sometimes its hard to think of font ideas so that would be rly helpful :) An ANIMATION feature would be so nice too I have too many animatic ideas lol

6.) Favorite artist on and off Colors Live? How do they motivate you?
Theres so many good artworks everywhere ToT I rly like the art from @/Sammyjam and @/Parako on youtube. Their rendering skills are SO GOOD 100% PEAK! They motivate me to improve my rendering skills i hope I can be as good as them one day.. Yemsao has a very pretty artstyle too ^_^ they have a webtoon called Cherry Crush SO GOOD I RECOMMEND. @Cupcake4me's artwork is so good too the way she renders is just so good she has so many good art pieces on here :sob:

7.) The artist you admire most? Which are they on and off of Colors Live?
This might sound exactly like the last question but my favorites on Colors is @Cupcake4me @pear-60 and @Meganekko_ (ik all the crazy stuff that happened with her but her ocs are so cute n she was one of my biggest inspirations on here)

8.) Now your artwork. Which of yours do you like best? Which define you the most or are the ones you feel showcase your skills most?
I noticed I favor my art from may and june:sob: I kinda miss that artstyle even tho the rendering wasnt that good.

9.) Top 3 favorite Colors Live artworks? What do you like about them?
RLY LOVE THIS The rendering is so pretty n the colors pop in such a nice way this is def my number one favorite and might be for a while♥

10.) The way you colors is to be admired! What tips do you have for people who want their colors to pop?
Ok Im not that good at advice and tips but..
If you every feel intimidated from other artists and believe your art isnt good enough, remember: Practice makes perfect! You will continue to grow as an artist and ur skills will increase so dont give up! Everyone has their own unique artstyle including you. Remember taking some breaks is good too!

11.) 2026 is here! What do you hope to accomplish? What're your plans and goals for the future?
Mostly of my 2026 goals have to do with art ToT I rly want to get better at rendering and ESPECIALLY backgrounds. Also want to make a chunky sketchbook without losing motivation fast:sob:

12.) When not 'arting', what do you do? What're are some other notable hobbies of yours?
Outside of art, I like to cook and sew. I recently got into sewing so thats smth I wanna improve at. I like to bake cookies and I LOVE making grilled cheese n I learned how to make pork buns too so I love those. I would like to learn how to make a strawberry pavlova and more complex meals and desserts.
13.) What's a weakness of yours that your turn into a strength?
I NEED to get better at anatomy and perspective badly:sob: Im getting bored of plain poses snd I wanna try more challenges. I also suck at rendering clothes so thats another thing.
14.) When you're burnt out or lacking inspiration, how do you get back into a creative mood?
Art block happens to me about every 2-3 weeks. To get my creativity back, I like to listen to music for lyric drawing ideas snd watch those art tik tok compilations on yt for inspiration (especialy for traditional art).

15.) Do you use any other software or mediums? How does Colors Live fit?
For other art programs, procreate is my GOAT I sometimes wish I could just copy and paste a drawing on there to colors live instead of tracing:sob:
I started procreate when I younger and I didn't know how to work it so I made a drawing on each layer instead of multiple canvases:skull: I use CL more bc Im more used to it and also my apple pencil broke so :/ I already lost my SonarPen before I even made my acc so theres no difference lol but I still prefer cl :p
16.) Anyone you want to shout-out? Or do you think needs love in 2026?
