Creepy Cryptids
Cryptids. No one knows where they came from or how they came to be. Some say they predate humanity, others say they appeared as a reminder by otherworldy forces to remind us that we aren't untouchable. That despite our advances as a species and a civilization we're still animals at the end of it all.
The ancient, primal fear that they invoke humbles us. Bringing us back to a time in our ancient past, buried deep in our DNA or very essence, when we had to fear the shadows and the unknown.
Whatever their original origins are, one thing is certain- they definitely fascinate the imagination!
