Summoning circle in place, spellbook at the ready, contract signed, wand in fist!
The young witch was finally ready to conjure her first familiar. Anxious but determined, she flicked her wand and the ritual had begun!
The entire room quaked, the lights flickered, and any object not tied down became a safety hazard as the magic caused a vortex that pulled anything lighter than a lamp into it. The young witch was almost swept off her feet by her own spell but she managed to hold steady.
Her summoning circle surged and unleashed a blinding light, and POOF! There it was, her familiar.
Elated, the witch embraced it in delight and they formed a lifelong bond. It wasn't the biggest, strongest, fastest, nor the most elegant. But it was hers and that's all that really mattered. To her it was perfect!
