The symbol on thid crab's claw is a rune for protection. I figured a crab with its tough shell would find that suiting, especially because I imagine his claw as a sort of shield.

I'm glad you liked the idea. I felt like he needed some sort of marking and I wanted it to have a meaning behind it. :)
