I started this picture months ago but didn't get around to finishing it untill after I saw the latest #Nintendo Direct where they revealed the rerelease of #Earthbound on the WiiU virtual console. Like I've said, I never got the chance to play this game because I never owned a #SuperNES so I watched an LP on Youtube. Then later after I heared this song by Maroon 5 I thought it made an almost perfect fit with Earthbound's theme and setting. #mother2 #ness #paula #3d

It's Paula, the only girl you get in your party. I'm really looking forward to finally getting this game even if it's only a digital version.

It turns out that the game's soundtrack was NEVER the reason this game wasn't rereleased during the past 18 years according to an interview with Bill Trinen(sp?). It most likely was because Nintendo didn't feel that the game would succeed if it was rereleased in North America (just a guess mind you). I'm going to buy Earthbound on the WiiU virtual console as soon as it's released to help prove them wrong. In any event, this whole debacle further proves that us gamers are a very paranoid lot thinking that Nintendo might get sued if they rereleased Earthbound in the US.
