Crows frequently wait for injured people to die. They eat the eyes first, then usually the tongue. They're oportunistic feeders, eating mostly carrion but also small animals like lizards and snakes, and even baby birds straight from the nest. Raven, a character from First Nations mythology and a member of the same family as crows (corvids) would mimic people's voices to pull pranks, and some say real corvids can do the same. Some corvids (magpies in particular) are compulsive theives. A group of crows is seriously called a mur, der, not a flock. Some corvids are intelligent enough to use tools, even working together and showing others how to do the same. Crows are, simply put, AWESOME. But you gotta take the good AND the bad when it comes to spirit animals. Either way, congrats!
