It makes sense that they'd be twins since dawn and dusk, night and day, can't exist independant of one another. But Luna being on the Moon, possessed by a malevolant spirit for a THOUSAND YEARS, could have halted her growth... I LIKE this idea!
This picture is quite lovely, by the way! It's very different from your usual style, though I'm not sure I like it better... It DOES fit this picture, however. Nicely done!
