The Drinking Bird by Carol

This was very popular a long time ago. Does anyone remember them besides me? I worked hard on this, and it's traced of course.

Yep,sure do. How about the aluminum christmas tree with the color wheel. We had one back in the 60's. It was beautiful, we did all blue balls. Memories... :)

My brother had (has?) one. I can't wait to show him your art - I think he had a specific name for it, but I can't come up with it.

I showed my brother - his eyes lit up and he said "the alcoholic duck!" And he does still have his (he has two!). He loved your picture.

I remember these. When I was very young and sat for an artist to do my portrait to enter into a contest I spend hours watching this bird bob up and down in a glass of water.
