I wanted to recreate an old character of mine who reminds me a lot of Spider Mans Venom. It has the ability to solidify its' body of shadow and form various offensive and defensive weapons out of it.. as well as liquify to blend in with shadowy surfaces. and since "he" can solidify he becomes imune to light. i wanted it to feel gritty, dark, and somewhat sinister. so red and black instantly came to mind. comment if you'd like. :)
