The Coelacanth by cryptid kid

The animal in this drawings nicknames are "living fossil",the darling of cryptozoology, cryptid, dinosaur. Also this is one of my favorite cryptids!P.S. it took me over 2 hours to make so if you dont have anything good to say about it, dont say anything at all. #wc179

dude it's still a cryptid! it is the "DARLING OF CRYPTOZOOLOGY"(not in my words, its in cryptozoologist's words)and it is the logo of The Natioanal Cryptozoology Museum! so yeah, it's still a cryptid.

well technically its not a cryptid ANYMORE, because they found out in the sixties off the coast of south africa, that they hadn't actually gone extinct afterall, good job on the artwork by the way, it really looks like the real thing!

I like the painting, but it shouldn't be ranked in the contest with "mythical creatures"... Since the Celeocanth is a living fossil that means it exists and is not mythical. But you did a great job! You captured every detail well.

And btw living fossil means it was considered extinct until it was rediscovered. So obviously it isn't extinct. It would really be awesome if they found an Archeopteryx. Its fossils look really cool! XD
