You are right. this is an important matter, and nintendo nor the colors! staff can do a thing about it. Why? cause people can post what they want, but it might not nessicarily be good for all eyes. kinda like, you can eat ANYTHING. but it might not be good for you. Thank you for making this, hopefully people notice it. :)
Oh, I agree, too! The Colors team knows about it enough to make the report button, (they also take e-mails. It's a tool everyone should know about,-- they respond to all appropriate e-mails dealing with serious issues, like cyber-bullying, users who spam or post multiple non-flagged mature images, bug issues with the site, everything! I've e-mailed them with about those things and they take care of it faster than I expected.). On the flip side, though, it seems they use the fact that no one can predict what will be posted on Colors as an excuse to not enforce the rules a little more... I do wish Colors was more strict and had a easily accessable reporting system. The one now is okay, but Colors is expanding and if they fall asleep now, Colors will practically explode past it's weak Terms of Use. I like sites that stay up-to-date, knowing that they will have to evolve with society or risk trouble. to avoid trouble. That is why I wish they didn't put in the "mature" flagging system in the first place. It gives users an excuse to post not-artistic-just-purely-shocking material and get away with it by flagging it. Some stuff doesn't belong on Colors even if it is flagged, the team says so but does nothing more than say so.
Again, that's why you need to e-mail them. They can take care of abusive comments that way as well.
((I don't support the harrassment of the users who do break the rules or have a different opinion on the issue. If someone does break the rules, reporting silently is by far the best thing you can do. Yelling or saying, "I reported you!!!" only causes war.))
