Mandelbrot Set by Gioku

My favorite fractal! Comes from the equation Z^2 plus C, with Z equalling a plus bi. You take the output of the equation, and use it as the next input, and so on. It creates this shape (after about 1000 iterations!)

Nice! This is probably the most famous fractal. I never heard the equation before though. You must be pretty smart. Have you ever made a game before?

The reason I asked is because you left a comment on one of my paintings about making a game from it. If you still want to, then be my guest. I would love to play it!

Awesome. Have you got G.I.M.P (GNU Image Manipulation Program) by any chance? It has a 'fractal explorer' in the 'filters' menu I think. Please check out my gallery.

I'm only twelve...TWELVE! This to me is like trying to teach rocket science to a two year old. Science I pretty much think like a messed up two year old I'm going to say this... that shape looks "funny". XD

Gioku

mad4nutella: fractals are usually left until calculus, if at all during school; they are certainly taught in college though.

Mandeldrot Set,imaginary numbers(square root -1)fractional dimensions, make a mind blowing universe. This is great.I hope to draw a part of the Mandelbrot Set some time too.
