He's very good for his age. This is proportional, which is hard to get a hang of, but he nailed it. I would simply recommend less...rough shading, at least on the body. The tentacles look fine though. ^^

Great try mate :) good pic for your age. The slight shading on the face looks good but dont go to over board with the shadowing. :)
