Your Profile picture should be a page saying "Nice work ^_^" because that comment is effortless UNFOLLOWED!

The reason I say nice work often is either cause I AM TIRED or not feeling well but still take the time to comment & like everyones art, I dont care about followers or likes, but I do try my best to see everyones art.

And its much harder to see everyones work now with the gallery being enlarged it takes forever to go through it & if i make big coments I might miss the chance to see someone elses art as I usually start from bottom going upwards.

Great job on the wzter effect! I can't really think of any tips to give for it though... I have a water element picture I did last year that had some water effects on it. Maybe that can help? ^_^

Dat background! Amazing!!

You did well Shelie. Water is hard, but there are a few tricks. Depending on what is around the water and what colour the sky is, you can use the predominant colour as a background. Brown, Red, Green, Blue, even Yellow all over the area or the areas most affected by whatever is around, like trees, colourful leaves etc. With the base colour down, either wait till you have done your picture, trees etc or if you know where they will be go ahead and start to put in the darkest reflections. Reflections are darker in the water and they are reversed. Also take note of any waves action. This will distort reflections. You can build up the colours slowly, and using the line brush on lower opacity and set the colour to low just sweep that in the area needed in the direction the water is moving. For any white bits, like waterfalls, etc, start with a light sweep of off white then with much brighter white put in small lines and squiggles. Don't overdo the splash or foam, and do this last, build it up to look like very soft fluffy clouds. Hope this helps a wee bit. Looking at others play back helps tons.

Awsome Shelie, once again, I love your art! HUGS! ^-^
To Blueboy...Shelie said she doesn't want any haters. So get over yourself! I at time do the same thing pretty much at times. At least she comments and gives so many likes to so many people! When we are tired and not feeling good, we both comment a sentence, at times I just like and not comment. So give Shelie credit, or leave her alone!
