bhua haha^ i'll add my friendcode to my profile description later, I'll suggest you do the same :p parakeets are expensive right? i went to a pet store the other week and i saw a few birds from 4 hundred to a grand! i sort of adopted my bird from a family member who just should not have owned a pet of any kind, anyways had him about a month now and he's getting less and less hostile and has been coming out of his cage more often and he actually flew on my shoulder and perched there for awhile, so i'm happy about that XD

my parakeet was 12 dollars. XD not exactly expensive. she is about 7 inches big. tiny but mighty.

And thats great that he's warming up to you. Once you get him to bond with you its one of the best things in the world. i tought sky (my bird) to lay in my hand and she lets me rub her head. Have a conversation with him. it may sound weird but my bird acctualy talks back. XD im like hey hows ur day and she replys with a head nod plus says 'good'. ouo

aw man thats awesome I may get a parakeet myself! considering the price! hopefully budgies and parakeets get along lol and yeah i talk with chico but i whistle or make little click noises. i look like a dork but its fun.

well the thing is stay with chico. if u get another bird chico and it will bond and start to act hostlie against you. But if you bond with chico he wont just b ur pet but a feathered friend. i used to have a pair of love birds. a female and a male. the male was cute and sorta liked me but wenever i got close to him or the female she wud attack me DX trust me JUST STAY WITH CHICO. ouo

when i was teaching sky to talk my mom got a cough that lasted a while. and now my bird coughs whenever its quiet or theres an awkward moment. XD

i accidentally bought c0ckatiel bird food! i had to pick out all the sunflower seeds before i could feed him lol going to be tedious for awhile. And yeah that was one of my concerns when i was considering buying another bird, that either they'd fight, or that they'll bond and both of them would turn on me!lol
