People don't make art to show people what they've seen, or heard, or thought. Art explains to others how we feel.

Art is a psycological bond between all people, no matter what race, what language, what nactionality. We all connect through art.

The style of art someone uses is also a window into their mind. People paint how they are, which is why you don't need a subject to draw. People can describe the inner workings of themeselves.

When you see all the brush strokes and the mistakes people have made in there art, you can sense their struggle, their vision and their triumph. You join them on a journey from the tiny spark in their mind to the completion of a masterpiece.

We become our art. Art, defines us. As humans, we strive for perfection in ourselves and what is around us, yet art is an chance for the imperfect and the unbalanced.

Art sets our minds free. We can record our dreams and our fantasies, our goals and desires for all to see.

The fact that Colors! allows users from around the World to share their art and their viewpoints allows for a shared consiousness to develop between artists, like a shared dream open to interpretation.

Colors! is a glimpse into other cultures and ways of life. People giving their take on others' art allows them to see things in a new light, both in the gallery and away.

We carry our thoughts with us, just as we carry our art. We have the ability to find beauty in anything, be it a roaring ocean or a tiny droplet of water, which I suppose describes art.

Art is a sea of ideas and memories that we swim and surround ourselves in. Some may choose to swim far and wide to find a view from the whole World, while others will examine every last drop to find uniqueness in everything.

So I want you to take away from this a new view on art. As you scroll through the pages of paintings stopping on ones that intrest you, think of the ones inbetween as well.

Every piece of artwork is unique and was made by someone who has a unique outlook on life. Think of the person who made that art and why they have chosen to do so.

Think of how they might relate to you and how you can learn from them, and be inspired.
