I heard this from my teacher 10 years ago. I had a german test and I can remember that I studied days for it. I waited for a very good result because I studied so much for it but the moment she gave us the test back I was so dissappointed of myself because the result was not that good that I had expected. I began to cry because I had studied so much for it but still not good enough. Then she said me this: "It is OK if you´re not the best, it´s enough if you tried your best!"
