Wow, this is wonderful, it looke so realistic. And i hope you win the contest

snack to wondering pregators so its no suprise they littered the beach. with only a moment of notice a seagull swooped down and plucked trance off of the soft shore. other seagulls saw the gulls prize and they chased after him. all trance could do was sit tgere hopeleslly waiting to be digested. all of a sudden the gull lost grip of trance and he fell strait down into the ocean with a soft plop. his troubles had only just begun.

a few years past, and trances size increased by a lot, as most turtles do. but... trance knew he wasnt just some turtle... he was special... some part of him knew that. in fact... he had a dream... to see the sea. the whole thing... he wanted to know every fish by name and every crack by memory. and naturally, curiosity tended to lead him into trouble. one day.. he swam far into what the other turtles knew as shark territory. sharks also like to dine on turtles. trance was brave.. or stupid..
comming close to what seemed like a small wooden chest, trance heart began to race. he remembered the tales older turtle folk talked about seeing stunning treasures in them. but to his suprise, a great white drifted up from behind the chest.

panicked, trance tried to swim away but the shark was already on him, and had ripped a chunck out of trance's front flipper. bleeding trance struggled even more trying his best to escape. all of a sudden the shark was gone and a low rumble buzzed through the water. trance felt himself being lifted out of the water. still in shock he hadnt realized what had grabbed him were humans! he thrashed around as a smooth hand softly stroked his shell. as time went on.. he calmed... and started enjoying the company of the alien-like creatures who swarmed him doing all sorts of strange things, talking in a weird language and a few poked him with sharp objects. but the hand on his back still comforted him, and eventually he fell asleep. after a few hours the humans tagged him and gentlly tossed him back into the water.

as he got older trance faced many more terrible injuries.. like losing his left eye from a seal attack and his shell chipped from slaming against reefs in raging seas.. he feared he would die soon... not knowing if he could take even one more small blow from younger turtles wanting to fight.. he returned to his birth beach and found the spot he first breathed air. and layed.. he was half asleep when he felt a familiar touch to his shell. he looked up to see humans, the most calming sight hed ever seen. seeing his injuries, the seaworld rescuers to them back to there hospitals and cleaned him and patched him up. after a slight surgery to his injured flipper they placed him in the tank with many other rescued seaturtles. the care and love from the rescuers helped trance to regain his strength.. and he got his wish. he knew the entire ocean (at least what was in his tank) and learned everyones names. many many years has trance been there, meeting new arrivals and frollicing through seaworlds kelp forests to this day you can see that spark of curiosity in his eyes.
