I'm so glad you like Chloe! ^-^ Your art is really cute :) As for sugguestions, the only ones I can really think of are shading and backrounds. Some art (like this one of Sonic) look good without a lot of shading, but I think that generally if you want something to appear more realistic, shading is a must. More interesting backgrounds can help draw people to your work, and using complementary colors (opposites on the color wheel: green opposes red) you can make something stand out more (like what is happening with Sonic's red shoes on the green grass) I hope this helps! :)
