Are you sure it's only for 2D? I made a version of this triangle in 3D if you'd care to have a look?

This was my first drawing so I didn't get all of the 3d controls mastered, so when I put it into 3D it just looked all messed up

That's okay. It is one of the hardest things to make in 3D! It's designed not to make sense in the three dimensional world so you have to know how to trick the eye in order to make everything line up!

I'm pretty sure that only your version can be 3D scince you change the depth of th individual blocks and trying it with this version would just make some parts stick out making it look like its cut up in pieces.
