Sketch: Aww thanks :) Backgrounds are really fun and rather easy to draw once you get the hang of it and pick up a few techniques. Skyepoo: Thank you, and I'd say that the colors are actually dull xP I should have used more contrast. derp. Shelie: Thanks so much! I spent I don't know how long doing all the detail. Those windows must have taken an hour at least! Not to mention the fact that I had exceeded the playback 6 hour limit (because this was originally part of another painting) and I had no undo button xD
Hex: Thanks so much! Aww yeah, Code Geass is great! Have you been watching Akito the Exiled? I've only seen the first episode, and I'm not sure if any others are released/subbed yet. Zirrious: Thank you :D The reason for this being Japanese themed is that this was originally going to be the background of my previous painting (which you can see in the playback, haha)
It's a bit different than the main series. It takes place in the European Universe and the episodes are like an hour long. Recently I watched Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away for the first time. They were fantastic.
Ukaber: Wow, you are a great poet! That's really impressive to be able to write something that has so much flow and meaning so fast! Hex: Yep, I looked it up and apparently the second episode comes out this summer.
Ah ok. I forgot you said that in the first pic. Speaking of anime... I never really got into any because I always seem to never finish a series due to some episodes being unavailable... Got any recommendations for me?
Ukaber: Oh, no, you're not like that at all. I've noticed your story and have been considering reading it sometime if I wasn't busy. Do you post your work on fimfiction? Zirrious: Oh that's fine xD I don't think I would be the best person to recommend anime since I really haven't watched that much myself, but from what I have watched, pretty much the stuff I mentioned earlier is amazing: Code Geass, and the movies Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke.
I forgot to mention that Panty and Stocking was the only anime I saw to the end. xD Big surprise... it had to be one of the more raunchy animes. I feel bad again...
Ukaber: Oh, okay. Well maybe you could someday post your story to fimfiction to have a wider group of readers. You don't happen to have any of your poetry shared anywhere, do you? I would really like to read more of it. :) Zirrious: The only anime series I have really seen all the way through would be Code Geass and Death Note :P I watched a ton of Naruto and Pokemon when I was younger, and I've seen a considerable amount of Cowboy Bebop, which was pretty good. I've also seen a tiny bit of Bleach, Rurouni Kenshin, Soul Eater, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Deadheart: That may be a bit of an exaggeration xD Hex: Oh my goodness, I was cracking up for a minute after I read that! I suppose you want me to finish Soul Eater xD Do you have a DA account btw?
Hex: Hooray, what's your username? I need to stalk your gallery xD Ukaber: Oh, well I'll be trying to find that other poem of yours in the meantime. I suppose the reason for that is that I respond to your comments and we bring up topics, so there is eventually a chain of replies.
I was so sure I had commented on this, I already 'liked' it ages ago. Anyway this is my very favourite of your arts. This is very beautiful and I love all things Asian, especially the architecture. I hope you will do more landscapes or places of interest.
