Autumn smiled and flicked her tail. "Ali, have you honestly ever seen a cougar with eyes like mine?" She said laughing. Autumn then noticed Lince's expression. "Come on Lince we aren't going to eat you! This is Apollo, he is here to help." She said looking at the other Mountain lion.

"Um.... g... g... good j.... j... job Autumn, I see you've brought us two--I mean one--more feline to help... but, um, how did you do that? And can we all have these special forms? What will I be? Oh, I wish I knew!" San had questions blurting out of her mouth like never before. "What was the vision before? Oh man, how did it feel? Do you think we can all transform like that? And will you ever be able to get back to cat form? Or... what about the dragon-shifters? There isn't much that's even MORE powerful than dragons. Also, for the big Fight, we need a strategy. I suggest The powerful tankers--the dragons go in first, and try to make as much damage. Then we bring in half of the animals for support and finally, the felines an the wolf go in because we can hide among the chaos of animals and make hidden slashes at the foe. If needed, the other half comes in also." San was examining the mountain lions with her... magnifying glass--who knew San had one in her backpack?--but also with her senses. "I feel magic, but not dark magic. I believe we are safe... FOR NOW."

Night saw two cougars and knew one was Autumn. Night's wolf senses told her so. She smelled like Autumn, just with a little cougar mixed in. As Night saw them her mind instantly snapped everything together, and she bolted over towards Autumn. Still in wolf form, she skidded to a stop in front of Autumn.
"How did you do that!?" Night was amazed and had her jaw open. "Do you think I could do it too?" Night couldn't hold her exictement. She LOVED animals, and now, maybe she could turn to many kinds!

"Alright Autumn. Now HOW did you do that?" San turned to the other cougar. "An evolved spirit? Who are you? Where is my spirit?" San questioned Apollo. The girl then shifted in lynx form. She was... smaller than Autumn and her spirit. "How odd..." Sanura thought as she noticed. "It feels so... wrong."

Autumn stepped back, suddenly feeling overwhelmed. "I don't know...Apollo just strided up to me and I shifted.' Apollo eyed each shifter carefully, he knew even stronger forms could be unlocked, but those took very special circumstances...Autumn then looked at San "I am still the same person...and I still have the same spirit animal. I have just have unlocked more of my potential." She explained,then she sighed and let herself shrink down into the form of a cat. "There is that better San?"

San felt ashamed. Had it been so obvious she was envying Autumn's new form so much? "Oh, it's fine to be a cougar, Autumn." she faked relatively well. Although it had seemed a little strange, Autumn and the rest ignored San's answer and changed the subject.

Lince walked over with Ali still not to sure about Autumns' new form.

Autumn held her gaze on San for a long moment before looking at Ali and responding, "Well it appears all of us are healthy, and we have our army ready....we need to leave as soon as possible. Just let everyone gather themselves." Autumn said with sigh, she shifted back into human form and looked at the bright stars...this could be the last time she would she them....and they were beautiful. Apollo sat beside her, looking solemn, Autumn brought her finger through his soft coat and smiled sadly. She then hugged the big cougar...and the cougar rested his head on her shoulder.

"But what about us?" San said, alarmed. "I mean, you're the only one here who has their upgraded form... maybe we'll find ours during the Battle? I mean, what's going to happen?" San wanted to know everything about these upgraded forms. "Sooo... I guess we pack up and jump in the clearing right next to us then?" San didn't really need an answer. She picked up her backpack upside down and emptied its contents. "The medic kit is full... I've got ten blue leaves... wait, TEN blue leaves? Where did THEY come from? Heh, anyways. I've got my flashlight, my magnifying glass, my..." she kept on listing the things that had been packed in her bag. As everything came back in, San sighed. "I'm all set." The lynx shifter made a lynx cry, and all the felines came rushing torwards her. "Alright. So divide yourselves with elders/kits/weaker warriors on one side, and the strong on the other side. The strong will go in after the dragons and the cougar, those that will make the most damage. The strong warriors, as soon as you see the dragons starting to become weaker, you rush in. I won't be there to lead you. I, along with... Lince probably, have to stay back for a surprise attack just when the Dark One thinks he's about to win. The rest of you, if I make the cry I just did, you rush in as fast as you can. We'll be in need of backup help." San turned to Autumn. "I gave them the instructions. Can you send the message I just sent to the other animal packs please?"

Autumn nodded and stood in front of the other animals addressing them clearly, they all seemed to understand what she said, which was good. "San we should leave the kits behind, they would be killed in an instant. " she then said to the lynx shifter.

Lince frown and said "Should we keep our stronger warriors in the back, so that the one thinks he's beaten our better soliders, but then we bring out our real warriors and catch him off guard. I can go in first with my birds, and you guys can come in when we're nearing difeat." Lince waited for their input on his plain.

Autumn nodded at each of them. "That makes sense..." She said, although worry pricked at her mind like a thousand tiny nettles. She looked at Apollo, who nodded.

Lince grabbed Alis' arm and took her far enough that the others couldn't hear them. He stopped and turned to look at her. "Ali I I uh I don't want you to go in the portal (it is a portal right? ) I want you to stay behind where you'll be safe. " he spoke softly but firm as he looked into her eyes. She looked like she was going to protest so Lince said more before he could stop himself "Please your all I have, I- I can't lose you... please just promise me you'll stay safe. " Lince couldn't lose her she was all he had... that is if she was his... if she didn't love him then he had nothing... he was thrown out of his family, put in a gang of thugs, and forced to be tool. Ali was all he loved and cared for, he simply didn't feel the same for anyone else, she was all he had, all he loved. Lince looked at Ali pleading her to promise to stay safe. He couldn't live with himself if she got hurt.

"Okay. So... what's the plan now? I think we should send in maybe Night, the moderately-strong wolves, Autumn and Apollo in first, so that they can make as much damage as they can. Then Surprise Attack #1, Ali and Lince attack from the sky, catching the Dark One off guard. As soon as part 1(What I just named) is getting weak, Part 2 starts. The strong animals can get in for backup, surprising the Dark One once again. In the chaos of battle, Rose and I do Surprise Attack #2 from the sky and from the ground respectively." San turned to the animals. "Kits and elders, you may leave and stay home secure. This battle is no match for you, this is for your security." San suddenly realized two shifters were gone. "I am SO not repeating. Where are Lince and ALi, anyway?" (Yes, it is a portal. It looks like a whirlpool, but it's colored with dark purple/blue/violet swirls. That's how I pictured it, anyway.)

San giggled. At least her friends were there to cheer her up. "Sooo... it's official? We're leaving?" San was really exited now. It was an experience that would change her life... and maybe end it, too. "Ali, Lince, did you hear?" They nodded. "Good, 'cause I was SO not going to repeat it all." San grinned. Perhaps they were all going to leap in Death's arms. Perhaps it was going to be a massacre. But they were all joking around, and that's what made it exiting. It was 10:45 AM now. "Well... I guess we should jump in the whirlpool then. IS EVERYBODY THERE?" San shouted to the animals. The elders and kits had retreated, and the warriors were all ready. And so San and her friends, leading nearly 150 animals crossed through the tall grass, making their way towards the portal.

(Maybe we could have a new pic for the jumping-in-the-portal and meeting-The-Dark-One parts. Also, since I came up with the Dark One, can I do the 'meeting' part? Please?)

Lince stood there for a moment not sure how to react to the kiss, or more of a peek but still no one had ever kissed him before, it-it felt good. It felt good to know she loved him back. Lince followed Ali back to the others still in a sort of daze. San looked at him annoyed about something. "So did you get that cause I'm not repeating myself. " Lince eyes widened and he lied say "Ya it's a great idea... " he leaned over and asked Ali "What's the plan. " Ali gave him a glare and told him what was going on. Lince nodded agreeing with the Sans' idea.

Night shifted and nodded respectfully to Apollo. Then she walked over to the wolves and other canines as San explained the plan.
"So, you all heard, and if any of you are too weak, old, young, or something of the sort, now's the time to bail out." Night was glad to see that none of the wolves left. She trusted that the pack leaders had gathered only the stronger wolves anyways.
Lince and Ali came back from the forest. (I think that's where they were...?) They seemed in a daze and their eyes filled with affection and happiness. Night knew why. "Good, hopefully that'll spark their fighting skills and alertness. But hopefully it won't distract them..." Night thought.
"So, I guess we're about ready to go, what do you think guys?" Night asked, somewhat loud so they could all hear. Night's shoulders were up high and her muscles flexed, her chest was expanded, her tail was up and her eyes burned with the notion of a good fight.

"Should we show ourselves as humans or as spirits?" San asked as she and Autumn led the felines out to the other clearing. There it was. The portal. A whirlpool, not that big... the water was dark purple, with magenta and royal blue streaks swirling in it. "I hope you all realize we're not even sure if there's going to be an 'exit' portal after the fight. This could be the end of it all... are we ready?" She asked, gazing in the portal. The water had no transparency at all... (Sorry for weak comment. Will start drawing right away.)
