Thanks everyone. @Gavin-the water was a royal pain to do. At first I had the water with the land on each of the three layers, but it looks awful, especially with all the reflections that there are. So, I got rid of the water on each layer, just did the water on the first layer, put in the reflections, and made two copies of that, then erased from top down, so the water lined up with each land, and then slapped the land layer onto the new water layer, twice. :P

Absolutely fantastic, and the water is possibly my favourite part of this picture for it's stunning realism

Thanks Tun. I guess my style has always been a bit of real with a bit of Monet.

You've got heaps more great art work on your gallery... You've got a new fan me who will now always be checking, your drawing and detail work is stunning.. I like the bold use of colors much like a real japanese garden. Keep it up and don't ever stop xx

I've noticed how much trouble people have drawing water with the 3D layers - you did well! Pretty scene!

Thank you Miss8Cake.:) Very kind of you.
BillDaly, yes, water in 3D can pose a challenge. I don't always use the method I did here, but it seems to work if the water is too full of reflections without rocks or natural breaks. Thank you.
