It's because this community has little taste. It's nothing but ponies, memes, and traces.
Here's how I look at it:
If I make something and give it my all, and someone somewhere gets joy out of it, it makes it all worthwhile. It's easy to fall into a fad and please a mindless mass, it takes heart to make something that's truly yours. Keep on workin' kiddo. You've got my eyes.
