I haven't tried tracing, but I'd love to do so with a pic of one of my dogs (the only way to reference one of 'em, I figure). It's just that the lines are far too blurry in uploaded photos--my vision's perfect so I guess that's normal, unfortunately for me. : ( Really, the fact you can trace over pics at all is, in itself, impressive to me! And no, it doesn't LOOK traced at all. Terrifici job though, plus I absolutely LOVE your gallery!! : )
