might be too complex to sort paintings. also I don't like the "famous artist" or "hall of fame" buttons. their redundant and propagate the stranglehold they already have on the gallery.

They are already working on this. Heck, Nintendo's already denied the update several times, now. If we're lucky, we'll get it this thursday. Also, why on Earth should the site pander to dog OC's?

They are updating colors, its called flipnote 3D

Flipnote 3D is not an update. An actual update to Colors 3D is coming very soon. An "OC" gallery is basically impossible to implement, and so are comics, because a user can falsely tag things as comics or ocs.
