Inferno's POV: Fire rages across the land. I can probably be at fault for some of it. As I open my jaws to let another jet of flame loose, I notice the two dragons in the sky. One a golden white, the other the darkest black I have ever seen, with blo.od dripping from its claws. I notice that my guardian is gone, but so is its counterpart shadow. It had completed its task. I flamed another group of skeletons as one of them drove a spear into my leg. I roared, and Cinos took the skeleton out. We were winning. The skeletons were almost gone. We were so excited... until we saw the reinforcements...

Leails's POV: "No. I-It can't be. There's no way." I stammer as every member of the resistance turns and sees the oncoming wave of skeletons. A screa.m made me look up. Sam, well, the light dragon was being strangled. It was terrible. Bloo.d poured freely from her wounds. "I'm sorry... I'm so, so, very, very sorry." I heard in my head. Sam. I inhaled and nocked an arrow. "It's not your fault. Besides. We all know you can do this. You can win. You are the keeper of the light." With that, I released the arrow. I don't know how, but it struck the black dragon in the eye. It scr.eamed, and let Sam go. She roared and charged him. The fight continued. I watched as Sam flamed the ground, eliminating some of our enemies. "Thanks... I know you can win too..." She replied.
