This looks STUNNING! sinister as well as awesome! Darkrai was one of my favorite pokemons when I was younger, now I really like Zorua. :) Yeah, that pic was, I think, the first picture I had ever done in 3d. I went back and touched up the others. If you look at my newest pic, the about Easter, you'll see my 3d is really improving. Thx 4 the comment : D
I love Darkrai. :) I divide my painting into natural breaks. For something like a Pokemon, I would do all one one layer, then have an arm/paw on the next layer, a tail could be on the next layer too, if there is one. Some things lend themselves well to 3D and truly others do not. Remember that learning to draw well in 2D is far more important. The 3D comes with time and knowing natural breaks as in landscapes.
