Here she was sitting at this large polished table with Dominiq and two strangers acrross the table from them. First of all, she didn't like to eat at the table. Second, why did she even have to be here? She thought this was supposed to be a meeting between Dominiq and whoever he had to talk to. Alone.

Daaaaym!! This is fantastic! I love the grey contrast, just awsome really awsome *.*

She held her breath for a quick moment as she examined the strangers. There was that purple maned pony again and her partner? He was a pale grey with a dull, dark grey mane and tail. His stature was tall and lean with well-toned muscle. Intimidating... if Athens was any weaker than she was. She thought Dominiq was tall! This stallion was close to dwarfing his associate. She mentally shook her feelings off.

At least the food was nice. She wondered how much money Dominiq really did have. He was able to pay a restaurant to personally deliver all this food for pete's sake! She took another tomato into her mouth into her mouth into her mouth as the two males began to talk.

"Had enough to eat?" Dominiq engaged.
"For now... mind if you and I speak in another room? I'd rather not have the public hearing what I have to say." He said, side-eyeing Athens.
"Why, of course." He answered quietly, taking a quick glance Athens before standing and leading the stranger out through a door. The glance felt like a warning. She would have ignored him, but the stallion was a tall pegasus. She was also sure that he wasn't one to fight honorably. Now she was alone with this purple haired nuisance.

Even in black and white, I still love your art style.

"So, Athens is your name?" She said while putting something in her mouth.
"Mm hm." Athens answered while staring at her food to avoid eye-contact.
"I'm Silent Tempo." She said.
"Good for you." Athens answered, now poking around her plate.
"Don't like my name?"
"No, I don't like talking." that much was truthful.
"Anti-social I see."
"No, I just like action." She took a large drink of water and looked at Silent as she set her glass down. Silent smiled and had a glint in her eyes by then.
"Sounds odd coming from a unicorn."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"You guys usually trade pansy-magic for real work."
"Don't associate me with them."
Athens said as a frown took over her face.
"I wasn't. I was just- just... very curious as to what your reaction would be I had said that. You're interesting." Silent said and took a bite of an apple.
"Thanks?" She answered and started to actually eat off her plate; just for the sake of not talking. For now it was silent.

After a while of eating, "Do you even know why you're here?"
"To get money?" Athens answered, feeling quite as to what Silent was trying to imply.
"Well, I was wonderin- oh, who's this?" Silent said with another smile.
Athens looked up to see her ferret- Theodore. He crawled on the table sniffing at the large assortment of food in large bowls and plates. She had almost forgotten about him. Her face turned red as Theodore stepped all over Silent's plate without bothering to notice her.
"Hey. Theo, over here." She called, sounding more stern than she meant.
"I'm sorry about-" Athens began.
"Oh no! It's alright!"
As Theodore gadly ran towards Athens, the door opened to reveal Dominiq and the stranger.

"Athens," Dominiq never used her name much. She looked down at the table; he was too close to look in the face.
"Yes?" she was listening though.
"When did you say you were leaving?"
"Winter."
There was a long silence.
"Well, look. She's leaving for winter. She obviously no use to you guys." He said trying to strike a light tone.
Athens snorted at the way he spoke of her, like she was an item or something. She wouldn't anything though after seeing the male's muscle and how he was partnered up with Silent. Now the brute walked over to her.
"Why do you need to leave when winter arrives?" he asked. She looked up at him, his eyes didn't seem angry; they were just curious.
"Well?" he said and Athens realized how long she had been looking at him.
"Oh, I need to go back to my hometown . It will be warmer there. I don't take too well to the cold." She said it perfectly as if she had a script infront of her.
"What's it called?" his accent, the same as Silent's, made the sentence sound awkward.
"Yoshpet. It's more of a village really-"
"Oh I see." he cut her off, "How long does it for you go there or leave to here?"
"Something like a month? I wouldn't know.I never counted." now that sounded odd coming from her own mouth.

"Would you mind in helpin' us carry some items? Won't be too long from tomorrow- days'morrow at it's latest. Some of Dominiq's wine...?" he turned towards Silent Tempo. "Of course! How could you forget?" she with some sort of mixture of irritation and amusement.

"I guess so?" she felt dull again. The male was too close for comfort. Wouldn't this be Dominiq's choice? She felt eating just to escape the conversation, but she knew she couldn't,

"OK, back off." Silent shoved her body between the male and Athens. "I think /Athens/ has had enough. The date is set now, Alex."
The male, Alex, mmbled some sort of agreement while looking flustered.
"See ya' guys tomorrow." Silent unfolded her wings and waved goodbye while Alex followed behind with his head low
Now Athens was confused and felt like giving Domniq a good hoof to the face. -done-
