This is an edit after I got some great advice from the marvelous Josh Hook! Oh, and if you are an anime fan and this looks familiar, I was inspired by the scenery in the opening credits of Mushi-Shi...
The Colors! Gallery moderators will look at it as soon as possible.

Yes, it does! I also extended the fog line on the first layer over the cliff...just seemed logical. Thanks so much! I've only been using this program for about a month and only get to use it when my daughter is at school, asleep, or if she doesn't do her homework. (LOL)

Isn't it amazing how someone who doesn't even have a scribble to offer can pass judgement?

This is really great! I still need practice with my stuff, I can't do trees or water all that well. Or mountains. XD Basically, I'm still learning, and my drawing style has yet to mature. Josh Hook gave me some great advice and I'm putting it to good use. But anyway, I like the fog effect here! It must have taken a while to paint all those trees. I've never really paid a great deal of attention to nature, something I really regret, because now I want to paint stuff like this! Oh well, I'm still young, which means I have plenty of time to learn. But ANYWAY... The 3D really shines here, and the highlighting on the rocks helps bring out that sense of depth. Wow, you know what? This makes me want to paint more landscapes! Again, great job!
