(Karoro) As a cure I´d recommend playing Super Mario World, Yoshi´s Island, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Mario 64 DS, the NSMB games that have Yoshi in it or Super Mario Galaxy 2. That should help :P

Or Yoshi´s Story. Even though that game is not everyone´s taste.

It is true that Yoshi is cool and adorable, especially how you drew it - Being young, I played a lot with "Super Mario World" in Snes and "Yoshi's Island" in GBA, I grew up with it are going to say , hard to hate x)

I think that the reason why people have a hard time playing as him on SSBB is (probably) because: Tap jump is a no-no for yoshi. And modt play with tapjump on. (Though, there are some TJ yoshis out there, such as myself)
His techs can be hard to preform in a heated battle.
Mastering him requires practice, patience, and good timing for his techs.

Nevermind, I created a Yoshiona for my own tastes. Yoshi is a very nice character. He's a bit overrated though he's something that I can at least hug at.
