The seven shifters had finally arrived at a landing site. The storm had passed, revealing a beautiful sun. It was around noon when Rose and Ali landed among the trees. A small clearing--right next to a crystal clear river which had small fish--was where the seven had come to. Trees, thick and thin, surrounded them, giving the shifters cover in case of attack. San stepped off Rose's back, thanking her friend for letting them fly on her, especially in such a storm. Then San noticed the beauty of the landscape. She rushed to the river, for Sanura had always loved water in all its aspects. "Water... ahh..." she put her hands in a cup shape and drank the fresh water. It was not too warm and not too cold, just perfect to cool Sanura's mouth. "This is amazing!" the lynx girl remarked in awe. The swaying of the leaves and the rippling of the water spoke. "This is your new temporary home. Climb the trees if anyone attacks, and fish in the river for food. Whatever you need to survive, this provides." "Did you hear that, guys?" San exclaimed, still amazed at the lucky spot that was given to them by their spirits. "Oh wait..."
(Autumn is still a cat.) Autumn happily leaped off of Rose's back into the beautiful landscape. "Woah...it's perfect!" She breathed. "You may only rest here, this place is vulnerable to attack. So rest....then move on" The spirit warned. Autumn pushed the voice away and began to pounce in the grass. Her whisker twitched and her tail, waved happily. Her feline ears were perked and swiveling around, scanning for the sound of movement. Then a scent hit her nose, her eyes began to widen and her pupils dilated, she began to investigate the source of the heavenly scent. Some kind of....grass? She began to get this extremely happy warm feeling in her mind. The warning of her spirit faded away from her mind, as well as the problems of the world, she was just left rolling in the odd grass (catnip) purring and murmuring about the most random of things like unicorns, cheeseburgers, and butterflies. But everything was just perfect in her head. She was intoxicated with the smell. (Lol this will look really weird to your characters)
Night helped Lince off Rose and set him by a tree so he could lean against it.
"There you go." She mumbled. "How's your arm? Would you like some water?" Night asked kindly.
For some reason she did not know, Night felt responsible for Lince. Maybe because he was hurt. Maybe because she had been helping him pretty much the enrire journey. Maybe because she was compassionate. But Night just didn't really know.
At least she was helping. That was better than no one helping him.
Once Lince was situated, Night examined her surroundings. Night was awestruck at what she saw. The lake they were near was calm and silver so it looked like crystal. The trees, plants and animals around it were all growing healthy and beautiful. The entire place was also surrounded by mountains, creating a secure, walled-in feeling.
Night hoped they could stay here for quite a while. It was beautiful and with their animal abilities they could catch food. Besides, if not here, where else would they go?
Rose was exhausted and her fur was sodden with cold rain water. She shook it off, showering the others with dew. Rose looked around, it was like her vision. The purple mountains in the distance, the grasses swaying in the wind, and the sweet scents of the flowers. The gentle breeze ruffled her fur and she smiled. She turned and saw Autumn rolling in the grass, her pupils dilated. Rose hovered the fluff on the end of her tail above Autumn's whiskers. She batted at it and Rose chuckled. Rose's eyes were suddenly heavy and she looked up to the trees before climbing up into one. She rested her head on a branch before she slept. 'You must continue on, like I said, this will only provide temporary shelter...'
San was getting hungry. She shifted to lynx form so that the raw fish would taste good, and trotted to the river. The soft current and the ripples on the stones were two of Sanura's favorite aspects of nature. The water flowing on the stones made a lovely tingling sound that seemed heavenly to the lynx. She watched as a small fish swam by and swished her paw in the water. Her claws had caught the poor fish. Sanura took a quick bite to end the fish's misery. It felt wonderful, and the aroma filled her nose. "This is wonderful!" The lynx meowed as she saw the beautiful pure blue sky. As San looked around her, she noticed something. "Guys, look!" she called out, still in lynx form. A small cave was nearby, and it was clearly deserted. "We could make our base and sleep there. "Night, can you bring Lince over? The river seemed to connect to the cave, so we'll have a lot of fresh water to help Lince get back on his feet." San unshifted and ran o the cave. It had a tiny crack in the 'ceiling'. Not too big so that rain could come in, but just big enough so that light could fill the cave, for it was indeed well-lit. "This is... this is just perfect. This is too good to be true!" Her spirit spoke again. "San, we've given you and your friends this magical cave. It can only be seen by you shifters, and it has a magical seal to it so that only you and your friends--no matter in what form--can enter. But watch out! In order for this spell to work, you will find seven colored stones. You and your friends must always have these stones on you at all times, else the seal will be broken. I will send this message to the others." One by one, the shifters glanced at the cave, for now they all knew there were something they had to collect. Sanura ran inside. It was surprisingly warm. Then she saw it; a featherweight rock, about two inches long. It seemed to be a rainbow-colored opal, Sanura's favorite stone. "Wow! I am never leaving this off me!"
Rose saw the cave San had mentioned, she could feel magic twisting around it. Her spirit dragon spoke after San, 'Get your gem and keep it, it will aid you.' She slid out of the tree and gently flapped to the cave. In the cave she saw a pink stone glowing just behind San. She ran to the gem and swept it up in her claws. It was beautiful, and she knew instantly what it was. A pretty star sapphire, in the center it had a star shape, almost unreal. She smiled and went to the very back of the cave. She would sleep in here, even though she loved the sweet Lullabies the plants sung to her.
Sanura picked up the stone. It was a little wet, but that only added to the shine of the gem. Its ranbows streaks added color to the black body of the stone, and it overall was San's dream gemstone. It seemed to have some sort of pattern with the streaks, but Sanura couldn't quite put her hand on it. "Just... beautiful..." Then she whisked the gem in her pocket and looked around in the cave. From the crack, one could see the sun was now slightly fading, leaving space for a gorgeous sunset. The cave itself wasn't deep, merely 10 feet long. It felt slightly humid, but that moisture would only help Sanura's wound. She shouldn't forget the fact that she HAD died, after all.
Night picked up Lince and carried him over to the cave. She too had gotten the message and looked near him for a stone. Her eye drifted over to a midnight purple sparkle. Night walked over to it and found in the water a gorgeous onyx.
The onyx was shaped like a moon and smooth from the water passing over it for who knows how long. It had an iridescent green-purple-blue shine on the black surface. It was absolutely beautiful! Night shoved it in her pocket after examining it more.
Night walked over to Lince and wondered how he would find his stone. Especially without being able to walk, or move one of his arms. Night sat back against the side of the cave about a foot or two away from Lince. Night communicated telepathically, since Lince could barely speak.
"Did you recieve the mesage about the seven stones?" Night asked.
Lince had fallen asleep shortly before their arrival the storm had drained him of energy. Though he had wanted to have a converse with Night during the flight, the storm had made it hard to telecommunicate with her, and he had fallen asleep. He felt lost what was he during here? He had no reason to be here, Ali had been his only reason and she had pushed him away... but then again she did come back for me... Err Lince growled in his sleep with frustration. Why did she push me away did she care or did she not? Why did she do that... Fool she doesn't want you she has new friends better friends your just a crippled now! Lince cringed he was right he was nothing to her now... Before at least he had been something to her, or was he ever anything to her. Was he just a tool to her then, and now that he was broken she had no use for him. But she came back for me... That was before you broke now she'll leave you now your nothing! Shut up Lince yelled at himself (in his head) Never! I am you remember, you cannot shut me up with out shuting yourself up! Then ki.ll me he screamed swing his arms left and right trying to hit the voice. (The voice in his head is his spirit animal) Lince wince in pain as he realized he had move his arms in real life as well. His broken arm hung loss from it's sling now in flames of pain. Lince looked at his surroundings at a surprised Night. "Were were am I?" Lince asked Night Then Lince smiled with joy as he realized he had talked out loud! He moved his good arm experimentally it worked! HIs smile widened "I can move again!" He started straightening his back to sit up straight but grimaced as more pain shot up from his arm. He grabed it and moved it onto his lap as he sat up. "Err still hurts mmm, so..." He looked at Night "How was the rest of the flight? Do you know were we are? What-" Lince paused and shook his head "Sorry I'm still err..." LInce paused again the voice then asked Still what? Lince laid back against the cave wall or what ever it was they were in he didn't know for sure. He put his hand on something warm and he picked it up. It was a hard lump of coal... All a sudden his head told him. I'd keep that if I were you. Lince shoved it in his pocket and then looked back at Night she was looking at him strangely. He looked down not likeing the way she was looking at him, it reminded him of his gang members and how they treated him so poorly. Would they be just like them, the shifters... or were they different? Your just a tool nothing else! As soon as your usefulness runs out they leave you! Trust no one! Lince tried to sink into the wall he wanted to just disappear to just... die...
Once San had collected her stone, she came out of the cave. The girl saw Ali swimming and thought, "Hey, that's a great idea!" Sanura slipped in, swift as the current itself. Sanura, too, had been taught to swim at a very young age. She had always been teased on as a kid for always being the last one underwater, for she was a natural at keeping her breath. She joined Ali and ducked. The water was surprisingly warm, yet refreshing. After all the fighting and running, it felt wonderful to get a wash off from all the sweat. She telepathically spoke to Ali. "Hey Ali, how long can you hold your breath for? I want to go swim all the way down there, there might be some cool stones." She smiled as a small fish swam right in front of her nose.
"Fun times over." The cat spirit whispered. Autumn realized she had fallen asleep in the grass. "What was I even doing here?" She thought to herself before shifting back into human form. She shrugged and glanced around her, Ali and San were taking a swim while Lince and Night were talking. Wait talking? Was his back better? Autumn grinned happily and began to walk over. "I see you're moving again." She said as she plopped down beside him. She noticed his dejected mood and posture, and placed a gentle arm on his good shoulder. "Hey are you alright?" She questioned. Then a vision hit Autumn. "You fool! Your soul is as rotted as a demons." The cat spirit growled. A bird spirit puffed up his feathers in indignation. "How dare you! You know what humans have done to our bretheren! They deserve to suffer!"
"But the boy has done nothing wrong! It is his species! Not him!"
"Why must I have been chosen to help these foolish humans!"
"Because they will destroy themselves if you don't, if we don't!"
"Maybe they should!" The bird screeched. The feline shook her head sadly. "The humans end will be the end of us all..." The vision faded as the cat spoke. Autumn woke up blinking in confusion. Both of the other shifters were staring at her oddly. Autumn just looked straight into Lince's eyes and whispered "I am sorry...."
Don't trust her, she isn't sorry, NONE of them are! Lince shrunk down more not sure what to say, more why she was saying sorry. "Ya I... err woke up and I could move again. " Lince moved his good hand as proff and put up a fake smile, but he doubt it looked convinsing. When Autumn continued to stare he looked down again turning away. He wanted to shrink into the shadows where he could escape their gaze. They're trying to get at you make you feel weak! said the voice Lince shrunk down more bringing his legs up in a ball. "Whu-why are you sorry fu-for me, I I'm fu- fu- fine... " Lince mouth trembled her wanted to cry but the voice said Idiot you fool! Don't give it to them! Don't give them weakness! But Lince let tears flow regardless.
"Whu- what do you care." Lince sobbed out trembleing now. She doesn't that's what! "Shut- up!" cried Lince out loud. She doesn't care about you, all she sees is a tool! Lince shivered "I not a tool... " whispered Lince. Then what are you? Lince banged his head against the cave wall muttering "I don't know I don't know..." You nothing! Nothing but a stupid cowardly fool! I hate you! You hate me? You hate yourself? Yes! Really, your nothing without me, nothing. You would've died on the streets without me, the gang would've never taken you in and you would've died! What are you saying your me. You I'm not you, uhk how dare you call me a human! I'm your spirit animal idiot! I'm the brains behind your survival. With out me- Without you I would've never been kicked out of my family, I would've never had to live on the streets I- NO I- Without you I wouldn't be anyone's tool, I'd be me! No- Shut up! I'm not your tool anymore, leave me alone. The voice stoped, it all stopped. Lince realaxed a bit. He stoped banging his head against the wall and now just laid it there. The tears continued to drop but now Lince could rest. He fell asleep against the cold hard rock,, he was exsosted.
Night was surprised to see Lince moving again--and talking. But she was also surprised by another thing. He was being awfully strange.
He muttered to himself, randomly yelled, and banged his head on the wall. If Night didn't know any better she would have thought he had turrets. (A mental problem when people stutter and say random things, make random faces and the like)
Night's eyes suddenly looked past Lince and stared at the wall. Everything looked fuzzy and she zoned out.
Night saw a bird, Lince's bird. His bird was squauking and ruffling his feathers.
Lince's bird kept yelling things like, "You fool! They're using you!" "Forget them! Trust me!" and Lince was looking distraught and torn by who to listen to. He tried to yell back helplessly, "No-no! Shut up!"
Night couldn't take it. She dashed forward with her spirit animal running the same way by her side along with her. Night charged at the bird and tried to grab it but walked through it as if it was air. Then the ran over to Lince and held his shoulders.
"Lince! Lince, wake up!"
Night's eyes resituated and she was back in the real world. She was on her knees and shook her head a little. Night crawled over the Lince.
"Lince! You have to listen! That bird is lying! You want to live better physically, but you need to first live better mentally! Fight the bird, he's hurting you more than your arm does!"
Night settled down and thought. She realized something and was confused. "Aren't our spirit animals supposed to help us? Why is Lince's acting like his enemy?" She thought while she waited--and hoped--for Lince to respond.
San got out, seeing Lince acting strange. "Wha... what did I miss?" she asks as she makes her way to Lince. "Hey, look! You're moving now! Wow, you've really improved! I guess the water has helped a bunch, huh?" Noticing that he completely rejected her greetings, San frowned. "Oh, what is it?" San always got exasperated when people sulked. "Did we do something wro--" she was cut off by her spirit. "Fool! Lince is upset, he fought with his spirit. He might die later on, for his spirit animal won't help him. But right now, there are other troubles you must worry about..." San was puzzled. "What do you mean?" "Stones!" it called out in Sanura's thoughts. The girl gasped. "The night is falling, quick, guys! If Lince doesn't have his stone by midnight, the seal will be broken and we won't be able to bring it back up!" San got up, and looked around. "Oh no... oh no... this is not happening... this can't be happening..." she tried to remind herself as she looked around for the stone. The lynx shifter looked up, stars were almost noticeable now. She shrieked. "Dang! I think the stone can only be found by its true owner! Lince, you have to cooperate! Forget the bird, forget your arm! You HAVE to find your stone, else we'll have no protectio--" San stopped dead. Her foot was in mid-air, about to land on the ground for the girl was pacing in circles. But yet she heard a twig crack. "Did any of you do that...?" Now everyone was frozen, and then again; another twig cracked. "Uh oh..." San murmured. "Everyone... get to the cave. NOW." San tried to keep calm while walking backwards torwards the cave as quietly as possible.
She kept a sharp eye on the forest that made a semi-circle in front of the cave. ANYTHING could come out, now that magic had entered the "game". First a witch, than curses, now a magical seal that was about to be broken. What should the shifters be prepared for now? Just as she was about to step--backwards still--in the cave, something jumped from over the top of the cave itself. It was a timberwolf. "Uh?" San was mesmerized by the glowing yellow eyes. Then she realized what it was about to do: pounce. "Guys, I... might need some help dealing with this!" And Sanura shifted.
Autumn began trying to comfort Lince, cursing the bird for it's treachery. She could feel her own spirit's frustration. Reasoning with this bird seemed impossible! She sighed and went to the river where she found Ali. "Ali?" Autumn said. The dragon girl was submerged under the water, "Ali!" Her voice became worried the longer she stayed under. Autumn finally reached out, grabbing Ali and pulling her out of the water. "God Ali you scared me!" She exclaimed as the dragon girl took in a gulp of air and opened her eyes.
Lince woke to see San panicing she talked of a stone and a spell that would be broken if everyone didn't have one. Lince put his hand in his pocket and brought out the lump of coal. Is this why you wanted me to keep this. Lince spoke in his mind to his spirit animal. Yes... it replied quietly. Lince squeezed the rock and said "Relax I got mine right here. " just then the timber wolf pounced for (sorry can't remember who it was spited it) but as soon as the wolf reached the caves mouth it was shoved away by an unseen force. The wolf howled in pain and ran off in the forest. Lince whached with interest,so that's what the spell did. Lince frowned thinking haucome everyone else knew about it's but him? Then his frown turned to anger, his spirit animal! His stupid spirit never you'd him all it did was hurt him! Lince curled back up in a ball anger at everything.
"What the...?" San watched as the wolf bounced off empty air. The girl then laughed at her silly mistake. "Right! The spell! But, that means that Lince..." She looked at Lince, who was holding a lump of coal. "Oh, uh, heh heh. Good to see you got it." The lynx-shifter sighed and sat down. She had had her own share of stress throughout the day; from fighting robots to being trapped by a witch, then having to fly across in a heavy storm to be greeted "home" by a timberwolf. (Is it night yet? Can I make it nightfall now?)
(Yeah Akemi) Autumn watched in fascination as the force field deflected the timber wolf. "Hmmm...some spell!" Autumn said before laying casually against a moss covered wall.
Night watched the timber wolf run away whimpering and she couldn't help but feel sorry for it. After all, she was sort of half-wolf. But that didn't matter.
Night turned back to Lince. He had his stone, and everything seemed fine now. In fact, he seemed to be fighting his stupid spirit animal. "What the heck had come over the bird anyways!?" Night thought.
"Lince..." Night started. "Are you...alright now...?" Night didn't want to offend him or aggrovate his bird or something and mess up his whole recovery, so she started slowly, step-by-step.
"Ya I'm fine..." Lince lied he was angry that everyones spirt animal treated them with respect, but his... No his spirit animal tricked him into think that it was his own consious saying those things. He had gone out threw life thinking it's just my instincts, but his instincts were wrong to think that. No it was his spirit that told him to distrust to hide and coware to hate to fear... Why did it treat him that way when it was the cause of all his troubles! The spirit animal was the cause of him being kicked out on the streets, by his own family! It was the reason for him being stuck in a gang of thugs, who used his powers that was given to him by it! Lince never wanted that, he never wanted to be different he never wanted to be used to be hurt... How could his spirit treat him this way after asking so much of him? I'm sorry came a voice in his head the birds. No your not. You don't care as long as you get you way! You never saw me as a person just a tool! Silence... then it spoke again. True I-I didn't care, you are a human and I- Oh so cause I'm a human that justifies your actions!?! Not all humans are the same you know! Yes... I-I realize that... your not like the other humans your- I'm what?!? A good tool!?! No!... no your not a tool... I should've never treated you as such- Just leave me alone! I don't know who to trust anymore cause of you! You made me think that Ali betraied me, but now that I think back she was only trying to protect me! Yu-yes I did do tha- So she does care about me. Lince thought cutting off the Bird. He turned towards the river hoping to spot her. He found her by it's edge. Lince almost jumped up then thought no... no I can't face her, I pushed her away and now she probably hates me! Lince shook his head thinking. No what do I do? I don't know how to explain to her I thought she betraited me and oh what do I do... I can't face her... the bird whispered I'll explain it to her... you were right to save her, back at the zoo, I was wrong... Lince could feel something leave him... Was his spirit going to talk to Ali?
"I'd really go for a night dip right now!" said San, satisfied. The stars were showing clearly now, and the sky was a beautiful midnight blue. "Hey guys", the lynx girl addressed everyone but mostly Ali and Lince. "Want to go swim a little before we rest for the night? This place is truly gifted for having a river!" The young teenager slipped in the shallow waters, amazed at the beauty of the riverbed at night. The Lynx(Lynx with a capital L represents the lynx spirit.) didn't quite seem to share the pleasure, for it only warned San once again. "Sanura--" it began. "Oh, what is it again?" the girl answered in her thoughts, annoyed that she had to converse with such a serious and straight-forward interlocutor in such pleasing times. "Sanura, you have to listen to me!" "Oh, please. Can't you--whoever you are--leave me alone for a second while I enjoy the last minutes spent awake of this amazing day?" "No. There's something else you need to know about the spell." Sanura--who was now underwater, swimming around with the fish--frowned. She certainly did not want to be reminded of magic at the moment. "Urgh... what?" she mumbled in her mind. "Some creatures can enter the spell if they are summoned in a specific way." "You mean... that someone... summons them?" San almost choke on her saliva. Her spirit was so calm, it was almost frightening. "Possibly. That is indeed the way it works, but who does it? I am incapable of knowing. This is your present quest; figure out who is intending to destroy you all, for the government is only serving a higher ranked individual. Most likely a supernatural being..." "!!!" San now had millions of thoughts and ideas racing around her mind. "What! But... but who... but how can we, seven teens with powers, destroy some sort of demon or god or some kind?" "Together, you can accomplish anything." And then the Lynx's voice was gone. San swap up for air and checked her jacket. She padded her pockets to make sure the rock was still there, and... it wasn't.
"Dang! It must'd fallen while I slipped in the water..." the young girl looked around on the riverbed, retracing her strokes. "I don't get it! I'm sure I had zipped up the pocket before entering the river! It doesn't make sense!" She looked everywhere. As she gasped for air once more, she saw the spell fading... "Oh no. Oh no. This is NOT happening. Oh no." She thought again and again in her head. "Oh no... I can't find it anywhere!" She was about to look out of the river when something hard hit her behind the head. A fish--relatively big--had the rock in its mouth, and had dropped it on the young teen's head. "What the? How... how did it get its mouth on my stone?"
(Still a dragon) Rose yawned and groggily opened her eyes, she had a nice nap, but now it was night and she wasn't tired. She walked to the pool where the others swam. It glowed with unearthly light and lit the cave in a florescent blue. It rippled ever so gently, water was forever flowing into it. Her spirit animal spoke for a moment, 'It is pure, like a child's heart.' She shuddered, the water was so calm yet full of life. She decided she would let her wound soak. She stuck a paw in and slid into the water gracefully as a swan. She dove down and the fish greeted her, they almost seemed to smile. Bubbles swirled around her and she felt at peace. She looked down at the bed, it was lined with all sorts of gorgeous stones. She grabbed a handful and surfaced. They were so pretty! She sorted through them, there was obsidian, cats-eye, and even sapphire. Her dragon self felt a love for the stones, they were treasure. She stepped outside after studying them a while and noticed the cave fading. 'No!' she checked herself, yes, she still had her stone. It must have been someone else. She looked at her back, the wound was swollen, yet clean. She whispered to a nearby tree. 'Do you know of any herb that can help me?' It answered, it's voice deep with age. 'It is beyond the hill.' She glanced at the hill, it was small. The crisp night air felt chilling as she walked to the other side. It was rich with herbs. She picked a few, whispering 'thanks' and 'sorry' to the flora. She suddenly smelled deer. She shot her head up and her stomach snarled. She lunged in the direction and smited the herbivore. She dragged her prey back to the cave, despite her extreme hunger, she resolved to share. They were a team. Suddenly she heard a voice it was not her spirit animal. She was struck with the vision of a bird, Lince. She stopped and shifted before entering the cave. She looked at Lince, a little sad. 'I've brought us a meal.'
San felt a little dizzy from the hit, but also because she had been holding her breath for so long. She leaped up and gasped for air, thankful that she had her stone once more. The spell was strangely reappearing. "I thought that once it was gone it could never be back!" she wondered in her thoughts. The Lynx answered her question: "If the stone is only lost for a certain amount of time--it varies if the stone is thrown away or taken or just lost--, it will regenerate." "Ah, that's good to know." The girl stepped out of the water and saw Rose bringing food in. San shifted as a lince, for humans were most likely not too fond of raw deer. San didn't feel like having to taste it as a human, so she shifted as a lynx for it was the feline's favorite food. "Oh, yum! May I share a piece with you?" she asked as she trotted over. "But if I take from the pile, I must add also. Let me go catch a fish or two and I will be back." Her stomach growled. San's thoughts were still thinking about the fact that they had to fight something supernatural, but she pushed away the thought. She was hungry and that's what counted at the moment. "Better catch it quick!" she thought positively. As she arrived at the river's bank, she glared in the water. Swish! Sanura snatched a sardine right out of the water, and quickly clawed at it so its misery and pain would be ended quickly. "Thank you, Nature, for giving us food and shelter." She whispered. It was a tradition in some lynxes' clans to thank Nature for all it gave the wild cats. San caught another fish and trotted with both preys in her jaws(without chewing them, obviously) back to her friends.
Lince glanced at Sunra when she invited him to join. He wanted to go but hesitated. Ali was over there still siting at the edge of the river. There was a thumping sound and Lince jumped, spinning his head he saw it was only Dream. Lince relaxed a bit then looking past her and saw the deer. Lince cocked his head he had feed on nuts, berrys, fruits, and small game for the past few years. There wasn't much he could hunt safely in the jungle. But being able to shift into a bird made it real easy to get fruit. He looked down at his broken arm and sighed. Oh how he longed to fly again. He felt so free while flying. The wind, the smell, the adrenalen! Lince looked back up at the river and disided to go in. He walked over hesitently at first but then walked a little more surely. He put a foot in at first then emirsed himself. "Ahhh..." he sighed pleasently the water felt so good on his arm. He slowly took the sling off winceing a bit but knowing it would be worth it. He frowned at the make shift sling. It was one of the shifters jacket, he should've taken it off before he got in, now it was wet and he doubted the owner would like that. He set it on a rock to dry hoping he didn't ruin it. Linces' broken arm floated freely in the water alowing him to see the damage. He squinted at it, it wasn't good his bone was still juting out. He grabed his arm and set to setting it back in place "Mmmm mmm!" Lince held back a yell as he poped it in place. There he thought as he inspected the bone. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out some material and tied it around his arm. Finished he sank down to his noise not careing that he was washing away his face paint. Closeing his eyes and begain to drift
(Opps I was writing this when you commented dragon) Lince felt a wave as someone came up from the tunnel the led from the outside river to the inside. He opened his eyes a crack. It was Ali! He brought his head up out of the water the rest of the way. "Ali... ya I uh... wanted to talk to you... for a while... whu-what did he tell you?..."
Autumn sighed at the dragon girl and tried to relax again, San had handed her a piece which she shifted to eat. It was good...but she really didn't feel like eating. She pushed scraps away and looked outside where Lince and Ali were talking. It must be nice having that mutual feeling.... Autumn thought to herself. The Cat simply said "Love is a frivolous thing, a want not a need." Autumn just shook her head trying to clear the cat's voice and her own thoughts. Instead she began to sing softly, maybe it would drive away these thoughts... Autumn the looked at Sanura who was just finishing her meal. "Hey San, what was your life like before all of this?"
Night sat in the cave and watched as the cave's entrance flickered. A sudden wave of shock and worry spilled over her. What if they got trapped inside? But then it was restored and Night was relieved. San came in looking relieved as well, and Night suspected she had lost her stone for that amount of time.
Then she watched as Rose came in carrying a deer. Night shifted and took a piece gratefully.
"Thanks." She mumbled.
After eating a bit, Night walked over to a corner--still in "wolf-mode"--and curled up to rest.
Night laid her chin on her paws and watched as Ali came in. Ali walked over to Lince and they started talking. Night could tell from her wolf instincts and senses that they were forgiving each other and renewing their relationship.
Night sighed. She had never been in love. She wished she could feel something as powerful as that, but most people didn't even notice her.
Night closed her tired, heavy eyelids and drifted off in a peaceful, refreshing slumber.
Lince took his hand and wiped the rest of the paint off. He then smiled at her and said "I- I'm sorry for takeing off like that, I-I thought you wu-were betraying me, tha-that you were going to shoot me. " Lince chocked down a sob "I thought I was nothing but a tool to you... but when you came for me I-I was confused I didn't know what to think, I-I'm so sorry I should've I I. " Linces' words begain to slure as he chocked back more sobs, but he wasn't finished "Can you forgive me. " he crocked out looking straight into her eyes.
Rose watched the new found 'couple' outside. She snorted and looked away. She hated love. It only ended up hurting... She rubbed the herbs she had found into her wound, at first they stung, but then the juices felt soothing. She shifted back to her dragon form, the deer wouldn't taste to good as a human. She looked at the deer and placed a paw on the flank and grabbed the back leg. She tore it off easily and brought it to the back of the cave. She ate it with as much dignity as she could muster, the meat was messy. Yet it was so savory and she wanted more. It tasted like a gourmet meal... but then again, she hadn't eaten in a while and was a dragon. She walked up and tore off the other leg and quickly ate it. She then stepped outside, ignoring the love birds, and went to the bushes. There were raspberries! She ate them quickly, she was so good at finding food! She was suddenly tired. She layed down in the grass and closed her eyes.
Night didn't know what to do. She had eaten, and now that Lince was better she felt unpurpose-ful. Night sighed. Maybe she should just go to sleep in the corner... But Night didn't want to. She loved the night and you could say she was a "Night Owl" or "Nocturnal."
Night got up, still in wolf form, stretched out her legs, and parted her jaws in a yawn. She was groggy after the small, short nap. Night made a weird whiny noise as she snapped her muzzle back together, but she didn't care, that was the canine way of yawning.
Night trotted outside and splashed though the water. The cold water woke her up and she enjoyed playing in it. Just for fun she shoved her face in and grabbed a fish. Night threw the fish on the deer in their makeshift "food pile."
Night dashed back out as fast as she could run and whizzed through the forest. She steered past the trees and rocks expertly and closed her eyes letting her senses take over. She smelled the evergreen trees and heard the calm chirp of crickets.
Night suddenly broke out of the covered forest and into a small, open field. Night skidded to a stop and examined the surroundings. It was beautiful. Fireflies flittered around like stars and the grass blew rythmically in the wind. The moon was in the sky, big and bright, and seemed to shine on Night. Just ahead of her was a rock jutting ot of the cliff she was on top of.
This place was like Night's dream. The entire place, not just this one area she was in. The crystal-clear lake, the protective cave, the forest, and this. She felt so at home. Night walked over slowly and stepped on the rock on the cliff. Being on the edge made her feel bold, courageous, and risky. She liked it.
Night thew back her head with the moon behind her and let out a howl. As her throat vibrated she closed her eyes and smiled.
"My life?" San thought back. It felt strange, trying to remember what it was like... before this. "Well... I didn't do much that was 'different' from any other thirteen-year-old's life, exept that my behavior and reactions were rather... strange. For instance, I would always get the highest marks in math. I don't know why, but every time a new lesson came in, I felt like I had secretly learned it the day before. I just... knew stuff. Also, I was always very attracted to nature. I felt like it was transmitting messages, but the thought seemed so weird that I pushed it away until I met Rose at Central Park." San looked away, for she had heard Night's howl. The lynx girl still had the wonderful taste of meat in her mouth, and wanted to keep it forever. "Looks like two certain people just got together, huh?" San smirked with the corner of her mouth. "Bah, I've always despised true love like that. From what I've experienced, it always ends up with pain and regret." San glanced at the remains of the deer. It was tempting, but she decided to leave the rest for the others who had not eaten yet. "So, Autumn... how was your life before this happened?" She asked. The moon was high now, and San was feeling at her highest during these times. She could easily take out an exam and finish it now, but... scholarship sort of lacked in these circumstances. Even though the girl was relatively used to late studies, she couldn't stop her yawning, and therefore tried to hide it.
"Pretty average, I had two kind parents, that were somewhat overbearing. Then I had my cat, he was weird but...he seemed to understand me in a way my peers never would. They all though I was some kind of weird freak..." She explained. Autumn then looked at Lince and Ali again....she was looking away, and Lince had this pained expression on his face...."Oh no...she rejected him....didn't she...." Autumn could feel his pain and rejection and the way from over here, her ears went back and her tail wrapped protectively around her legs...."Love....what a joke." She hissed to herself.
Night dashed back to the cave feeling a wave of excitement and adventure.
When Night reached the cave, the girls except for Rose were talking about their past. Night saw their makeshift circle they were sitting in that looked incomplete. Night wanted to complete it and join them, so she did.
Night transformed to human again and sat down. She was grateful to have these friends to talk to. Normally at home and school, she just walked around unnoticed and quiet. So, she didn't have many social times like this.
Night listened to Autumn, then afterword, started slowly and quietly telling her past. At first, her voice cracked.
"Well, I don't have much to say. I live a quiet life. I have two parents, and one older and one younger brother. At school I just walk around with my hood on and my hands in my pocket. No one notices me. I'm sort of quiet and keep to myself, I guess." Night shrugged.
"When I had my 'dream' no one noticed a change in me. I normally stuck to the shadows, so no one saw my shadow. And I only transformed alone in my free time. So, I suppose that about wraps up my secluded life..."
Night felt relieved to have people to open up to, but also awkward due to sharing her life with others and how she was so quiet and didn't have many real friends and stuff.
Night threw her hood on and looked at the ground. It was a habit of hers when she feels ashamed, awkward, or wants to go unnoticed. Night wanted to just slip away sometimes.
"Right, just friends..." Said Lince barley above a whisper, even though he thought of her as much more then just a friend. He loved her, but she didn't love him back. Ali got out of the river and rung the water from her hair, then she walked off. Lince watched her go, he wanted to run after her and tell her how much he loved her, but that would only make things more akward between them. She didn't love him like he did her... Lince watched as she disappeared into the cave. Lince looked down at his water rippled reflection. his spirit spoke up saying "I'm sorry Lince I tried to warn you. Love only brings pain and long suffering." "But why?" Lince asked "I don't know... I'm sorry I truly am. I know how much you cared for her..." Lince got up out of the water and walked sullumly towards the forest. He wasn't running away he just needed to clear his head, and he could only do that while in au tree. LInce climbed a tall one regardless of his broken arm and sat on one of the larger branches while leaning against the tree trunk. He gazed up at the stars with tear filled eyes which made them blurry rays of light in the sky.
Rose watched the two through slits in her eyes... rejection. Of course. She wanted to soothe Lince but decided not to, he wanted to be alone. He was heading to the forest. She then heard everyone talking about their past and tuned in. She lifted her head, their lives were all pretty normal. She glared at the moon. Her life was horrible, at least that's how she saw it, it wasn't normal. That was definite. They turned to ask about her life. 'I would rather not.' She said shortly. She didn't want them to think less of her. She walked to the river and absentmindedly dove down and settled at the bottom, the fish were so pretty. She knew it was a little mean of her... to avoid them, but she didn't want to share for a long time.
"What happened?" San asked, turning to look at Lince who was laving to clear his mind. "Oh. I see." Sanura looked back at Autumn, but was now thinking. "If I can sense magic, perhaps I can try to use it at my advantage... and our spirits can send us magic... is there a spell to fix relationships? Nah, I'd feel too weird trying that out." The lynx girl yawned again, this time more discretely. She continued the conversation. "You too? So for you, it was your cat that uunderstood you... well, once we went to a mini-zoo thing, and there was a lynx there. It had the prettiest feline eyes I had ever seen, a deep yet light turquoise that could see through all minds. And I know it was sad that it was in cage... it seemed as if it knew me from a different world. When no-one was looking, I freed it. I don't know if I should've, but now I know there is one more wild animal in the forest where it belongs. Perhaps we should go sleep now? It's merely 11:30 now. Tomorrow's a long day ahead, and we should pack up."
Lince jumped down from the tree, it was getting late judging by the moon, and Lince thought it would be safer to sleep in the cave. The enchantment seemed to keep things out, so Lince walked back to the cave. Reaching it he noticed most of the others had gone to sleep, trying not to wake the others he crept threw the cave were he found a some what comfortable rock were he too fell asleep.
Lince tossed and turned on his rock. He was having images flash threw his mind. He could hear his spirit animal say You must go there. Then the images would flash threw his mind again. Only this time more vivid! It showed the path they had to take and the dangers hiding along them. The trail took Lince too another cave much like the one they were at. There you can rest with ease till you must continue again. said his spirit. Lince woke at that, he sat up to see it was morning, the sun shown threw the cave reflecting off the waters inside. Lince got up and stretched, then reaching into his pocket he pulled out a bottle which he kept his face paint in. He aplyed it feeling safer under the mask. He then checked his arm it was looking better but he still couldn't use it. It would be a good month before it was fully healed, but really it was healing much faster then it should so maybe sooner. Lince longed to fly again but he could wait. "No sence in getting yourself ki.lled." he muttered then walked to the cave exit. There he let out a few churping noises. Birds came swooping towards him, and soon there were birds everywhere on him. Lince talked to them trying to get a better lay out of their journy ahead. Then he sent them flying off as his scouts. Lince then turned to look at the others. "Should I let them sleep or should I wake them?" he muttered aloud. Were's Ali? he thought to himself. He couldn't see her with the others so were was she?
San was only half-asleep. Even though she could clearly head the running river and the rain pounding on the top of the cave, the lynx-shifter was still able to get a dream.
The dream started in a strange temple, and San wasn't physically there. She was just watching from someone else's eyes. The room they were in was circular, and many pillars were running around, forming "walls". Seven thrones made of the stones the shifters had found(Amethyst for the cat, Opal for the lynx, Onyx for the wolf...)were lined up in a circle, all facing eachother. The Animals(The spirits) were sitting in those thrones. In the center, a giant magical orb floated, glowing and translucent. It seemed to be like a cinema on a floating ball, for images of the shifters' camp were projected. The Lynx spoke first. "The shifters should go find the One soon. They must defeat it." the Lynx's eyes glowed golden, and the image zoomed on San, who was half-sleeping. "Agreed. But we cannot guide them so much on this quest, else they will fail to discover their true selves." the Cat meowed. The feathered Dragon growled. "Are you all certain they have the powers to join us?" All the other Animals glared at the Dragon. "They will, and they must." the Spirits said together. Then San--in her dream--was whisked to another place, this time to a similar forest to where they were in real life at the moment. "This... is this where we have to go?" San whispered to herself. The Lynx appeared from nowhere in front of Sanura. "Yes, but it is not your ultimate goal. But here, you must discover what will lead you to your duties. The One will await you." "But... who is the One?" San asked, confused. "You must defeat it, else the World will be defeated!" the Lynx hissed, and it was gone. Then San felt as she was falling and woke up in a start.
"The One!!!" she yelled out as she woke up. Glares from her friends told her she must have awoken them, for it was very early. San checked her watch. 2:30 AM... "Shucks. Sorry, guys."
Night watched as San said she should try to use a spell to fix Lince and Ali's relationship.
"No, no. That would make things worse. Magic comes naturally, but the effects are artificial. Therefore, their relationship would be fake--not real" Night said.
Night watched as Lince slipped away. She felt so sorry for him. She knew what it was like to feel alone... So lonely... But yet, being alone soothed those feelings. Night reflected on the times when she would just hide away in her "den" (room) or run into the forest and climb a tree to get away. "Sometimes beig alone is the best remedy for loneliness..." She thought.
Later, when everyone else was settling down to sleep, Lince came back and curled up on a rock, Night jumped--pretty high for just a teenager--and landed on a rock pretty high, kind of above Lince. Night sat there with her feet and knees pressed tight to her chest. Night rested her chin on them and thought with her hood on. Her jacket was black and blended in with the shadows. For some reason, Night felt comfortingly safe and alone hidden in the shadows.
She looked down where Lince was tossing back and forth. Night sighed, she felt so bad for him. She sensed hurt in him from before this whole adventure. He had been rejected and neglected before (By the gang). Now it was happening again.
Night couldn't sleep. She just wasn't tired. She should be after such a crazy adventure. Witches; curses, injures; robots; heartbreak... Night looked around with her green eyes glowing in the dark like a wolf's. She looked around and saw everyone clearly. They were all sleeping. Except Ali and Lince...
San was shifting around in her sleep. "She must be dreaming." Night thought. Then a little while later, she woke up and yelled out the most odd thing. "THE ONE!!!" Night laughed as she woke everyone up and angered them. The moon was going down and the sun started to peek up. It was probably about 3:00 A.M.
Rose woke up on the side of the bank. She was startled by San's sudden shout. She sighed and stretched her back. It was so tense. She checked her wound... it was healing so fast. It was a lot smaller than when she had gotten it. She smiled. Being a shifter had its perks! She could fly, heal rather quickly, and all her senses felt at least five times stronger. She wondered though... what could San have ment by 'The one'? It didn't really make much sense. That seemed to stir her dragon spirit. "The one is the creature you must defeat to save the world you live in. He is not of your world. Your first clue to finding him in his haven..." She showed Rose what San had seen in her dream. The seven statues.... the glowing orbs in the center, each with one of the shifters in them. Their corresponding spirits were watching their teen... The lynx watching San, and the bird watching Lince, and so on. The vision was suddenly cut. She shook her head to clear it, she felt a little light headed after seeing so much. She got up and approached the raspberry bush and ate a few. She then looked at Lince. She felt a little bad for him... being rejected hurt, and now he had his mask again.
Lince waited paitently for everyone to wake, then he made his announcement. "Uh I had one of those vision things last night and I know where we need to go... I uh sent some birds to scout the area and it's clear all the way... well for at least now, so I think we should get going." Lince waited for a responce, would they ignore him like his gang did. Was he a tool with no voice, or was this different.
San was ashamed of herself. "Okay guys, Lince and I both seem to have gotten messages about where we need to go and what we need to do. I'll sum up what I learned through my dream, and why I shouted "The One!!" the lynx girl couldn't help but giggle. She HAD made a fool of herself by yelling that in the middle of the night--well, morning. "Okay. This is going to sound really strange..." (brb, have to switch computers. I'll continue in two seconds.)
"But hear me out." Sanura took a deep breath and closed her eyes, thinking about what she had dreamed of. "It was a strange Greek-style temple. Seven thrones made of our stones--amethyst, onyx, opal...--were in a circle, and a giant floating translucent orb was in the middle. Our Animals were sitting in the thrones, and one by one, they would project images of us on the orb. They were talking about us. They said we should go find The One and defeat it. They also talked about the fact that we had to figure out our true selves, and if we had the powers to join them. Join the Spirits, I think." San suddenly flinched. She had just thought of something: "How can we be Spirits, too? I don't get that part either..." but she snapped out of her world and continued. "The rest was unclear. I was in a forest, near a cave very similar to this one. My Spirit appeared, and told me that place would lead us to The One. Maybe... maybe a portal. I don't know..." San opened her eyes to see her friends captivated by the news. The lynx-shifter couldn't blame them: it almost sounded like a fairy tale... except this was real. "So! We should pack up and make our way to the other cave, maybe we'll find a portal or some sort of magical spell that will transport us to... The One." Sanura rushed to the cave and took her backpack(she had it at Central Park). She checked her pocket to see if the stone was there, and indeed it was. Then the Lynx spoke in San's mind. "You may be leaving the cave, but keep the stone. It will server you good in the future. Transmitting this message to the other shifters."
Lince frownd he hadn't seen the temple, why did San see it and not him? Lince looked down, he was always left in the dark about something. He looked back up trying to hide his annoyance which was made easier by his face paint, that was why he wore it.
Autumn nodded at both of them although she was a bit confused herself."Alright lead the way I guess." Autumn said awkwardly. She then shifted into cat form, it would be quick and light....then her ears twitched and a vision hit her. At first it was simply a shadow on the horizon...then blotted shapes...soon it was clear...animals literally made out of shadows with piercing red eyes and white pupils...genetically engineered. "They are called shadow weilders" the spirit whispered. Something wet began to swell around Autumn's paws, it was red, and smelled terrible....blood...Autumn let out a screech as she was slowly being surrounded by the blood, it clung to her fur dragging at her... "They are curse upon spirits, strong, they can bend the darkness..." The spirit continued.
"What? They can bend the darkness? Like...control it?"
"Yes...be careful...watch for the humans with shadows in their eyes..." The spirt warned...Autumn felt herself grow dizzy as the blood reached up to her neck...everything grew dark, except for the swarms of blood red eyes.....
Suddenly Autumn was back in the real world, lying on the ground, shuddering. Her fur was all spiked up, and her green eyes wide with fear. "Autumn are you alright?" A voice called.
Autumn didn't reply, she couldn't she felt chocked for words and was slightly out of breath, so she simply nodded and stood up, looking dully at the grass beneath her. She couldn't tell them! After all they'd been through...she just couldn't!
(DX I was typing, then accidently closed the window and lost all of it.)
Night listened as San talked about "The One" and where they should go. Night found it superstitious, but hey, they turned to animals, how superstitious is that?
Night leaped down onto the ledge where Lince was. He looked discouraged, sorrowful, and overal gloomy. Night wished there was some way she could help him. Night sat down on the edge with her feet dangling.
"I hide under my hood when I feel ashamed or alone. He hides under his paint. I am unnoticed and quiet, so is he." Night thought she could tell him these things, and how he wan't the only one. But, that could just upset him more. Night sighed.
San started to lead the way out the cave to where they were suppose to go. Night jumped down, landing with a thump, and followed. Night stopped and turned back to look at Lince with her hands in her pockets and hood on. He still sat there, sad and depressive. Night sighed.
"Lince are you coming?" She called, somewhat quietly.
Autumn heard a scream...another vision hit her like a bullet, causing her legs to buckle, a river of blood...and a fading dragon's shadow...Autumn opened her eyes sobbing as she shifted back into human form because of the emotional trauma. "Ali!" She screamed trying to stand up. She shakily got up, someone tried to hold her back but she ripped out of their grasp and began to run towards the river. (I'll make a new picture)
"Ya I'm coming." grumbled Lince He looked at the ground while stepping out of the cave. When he looked up he screamed and dashed for the rivers' edge. "Ali!?!" He yelled stumbling over the rocks at the river, hoping that the bloodied figure wasn't her, but as he got closer he saw it to be indeed her. "No no NO!!! Not you Ali." he cried as he frantically pulled her out of the river. He managed it with one arm but he couldn't carry her back to the cave, so he cradled her in his arm sniveling and sobbing. He looked up at the others who where just standing THERE and yelled "Help me!" LInce trembled he couldn't lose her not like this! She could push him away all she wanted but she couldn't leave him!

20 Mar, 2013, 1:35 am

(So that rain could NOT come in!!! My bad!!!)
20 Mar, 2013, 6:18 pm
20 Mar, 2013, 7:22 pm

(rainbow streaks, gee. These typos...)
20 Mar, 2013, 9:55 pm

They deserve to suffer!" "But the boy has done nothing wrong!
21 Mar, 2013, 2:48 am
21 Mar, 2013, 4:17 am
21 Mar, 2013, 4:48 am
21 Mar, 2013, 1:28 pm
21 Mar, 2013, 1:41 pm
She kept a sharp eye on the forest that made a semi-circle in front of the cave. ANYTHING could come out, now that magic had entered the "game". First a witch, than curses, now a magical seal that was about to be broken. What should the shifters be prepared for now? Just as she was about to step--backwards still--in the cave, something jumped from over the top of the cave itself. It was a timberwolf. "Uh?" San was mesmerized by the glowing yellow eyes. Then she realized what it was about to do: pounce. "Guys, I... might need some help dealing with this!" And Sanura shifted.
21 Mar, 2013, 5:53 pm
Autumn began trying to comfort Lince, cursing the bird for it's treachery. She could feel her own spirit's frustration. Reasoning with this bird seemed impossible! She sighed and went to the river where she found Ali. "Ali?" Autumn said. The dragon girl was submerged under the water, "Ali!" Her voice became worried the longer she stayed under. Autumn finally reached out, grabbing Ali and pulling her out of the water. "God Ali you scared me!" She exclaimed as the dragon girl took in a gulp of air and opened her eyes.
21 Mar, 2013, 8:24 pm
(I thought Lince already found his stone....and btw my stone is an amethyst.)
21 Mar, 2013, 9:30 pm
21 Mar, 2013, 10:12 pm
"What the...?" San watched as the wolf bounced off empty air. The girl then laughed at her silly mistake. "Right! The spell! But, that means that Lince..." She looked at Lince, who was holding a lump of coal. "Oh, uh, heh heh. Good to see you got it." The lynx-shifter sighed and sat down. She had had her own share of stress throughout the day; from fighting robots to being trapped by a witch, then having to fly across in a heavy storm to be greeted "home" by a timberwolf. (Is it night yet? Can I make it nightfall now?)
21 Mar, 2013, 10:46 pm
(Yeah Akemi) Autumn watched in fascination as the force field deflected the timber wolf. "Hmmm...some spell!" Autumn said before laying casually against a moss covered wall.
21 Mar, 2013, 11:00 pm
Night watched the timber wolf run away whimpering and she couldn't help but feel sorry for it. After all, she was sort of half-wolf. But that didn't matter.
Night turned back to Lince. He had his stone, and everything seemed fine now. In fact, he seemed to be fighting his stupid spirit animal. "What the heck had come over the bird anyways!?" Night thought.
"Lince..." Night started. "Are you...alright now...?" Night didn't want to offend him or aggrovate his bird or something and mess up his whole recovery, so she started slowly, step-by-step.
21 Mar, 2013, 11:32 pm

She padded her pockets to make sure the rock was still there, and... it wasn't.
22 Mar, 2013, 12:18 am

22 Mar, 2013, 1:03 am
22 Mar, 2013, 1:04 am
(As a Lince xD I meant as a LYNX, ha ha! My mind was thinking of two things at once!)
22 Mar, 2013, 1:32 am
22 Mar, 2013, 1:39 am
(Opps I was writing this when you commented dragon) Lince felt a wave as someone came up from the tunnel the led from the outside river to the inside. He opened his eyes a crack. It was Ali! He brought his head up out of the water the rest of the way. "Ali... ya I uh... wanted to talk to you... for a while... whu-what did he tell you?..."
22 Mar, 2013, 2:33 am
22 Mar, 2013, 5:27 am
22 Mar, 2013, 9:20 pm
Lince took his hand and wiped the rest of the paint off. He then smiled at her and said "I- I'm sorry for takeing off like that, I-I thought you wu-were betraying me, tha-that you were going to shoot me. " Lince chocked down a sob "I thought I was nothing but a tool to you... but when you came for me I-I was confused I didn't know what to think, I-I'm so sorry I should've I I. " Linces' words begain to slure as he chocked back more sobs, but he wasn't finished "Can you forgive me. " he crocked out looking straight into her eyes.
22 Mar, 2013, 10:09 pm
23 Mar, 2013, 12:11 am

23 Mar, 2013, 3:42 pm
Lince jumped down from the tree, it was getting late judging by the moon, and Lince thought it would be safer to sleep in the cave. The enchantment seemed to keep things out, so Lince walked back to the cave. Reaching it he noticed most of the others had gone to sleep, trying not to wake the others he crept threw the cave were he found a some what comfortable rock were he too fell asleep.
23 Mar, 2013, 5:03 pm

23 Mar, 2013, 7:30 pm
23 Mar, 2013, 8:55 pm
23 Mar, 2013, 10:29 pm
Lince waited paitently for everyone to wake, then he made his announcement. "Uh I had one of those vision things last night and I know where we need to go... I uh sent some birds to scout the area and it's clear all the way... well for at least now, so I think we should get going." Lince waited for a responce, would they ignore him like his gang did. Was he a tool with no voice, or was this different.
23 Mar, 2013, 10:47 pm
San was ashamed of herself. "Okay guys, Lince and I both seem to have gotten messages about where we need to go and what we need to do. I'll sum up what I learned through my dream, and why I shouted "The One!!" the lynx girl couldn't help but giggle. She HAD made a fool of herself by yelling that in the middle of the night--well, morning. "Okay. This is going to sound really strange..." (brb, have to switch computers. I'll continue in two seconds.)
23 Mar, 2013, 10:57 pm
23 Mar, 2013, 11:18 pm

Like...control it?" "Yes...be careful...watch for the humans with shadows in their eyes..." The spirt warned...Autumn felt herself grow dizzy as the blood reached up to her neck...everything grew dark, except for the swarms of blood red eyes.....

(I'm confused, what just happened?)
24 Mar, 2013, 2:41 am
24 Mar, 2013, 2:41 am
(They'll probably head out the cave and find Ali, and we'll go from there, I guess.)
24 Mar, 2013, 4:14 am
Autumn heard a scream...another vision hit her like a bullet, causing her legs to buckle, a river of blood...and a fading dragon's shadow...Autumn opened her eyes sobbing as she shifted back into human form because of the emotional trauma. "Ali!" She screamed trying to stand up. She shakily got up, someone tried to hold her back but she ripped out of their grasp and began to run towards the river. (I'll make a new picture)
24 Mar, 2013, 4:22 am
