Stillborn was not even alive when it had died. It's mother was attacked by a group of cult followers who kidnapped her and chained her to a stretcher. As a ritual to their otherworldy master, they forced her to eat many genetically altered tapeworm parasites. They released her soon after. After a matter of time, the tapeworm parasites began leeching onto the baby fetus, controlling it's very insides. The fetus died, and turned into the seed of darkness. It then ate it's mother inside-out.
