That's a desicion for YOU to make. If you're going to let others' disapproval influence your choices, then good luck. I know it's hard not being as recognized as you'd like, but it's gonna take time; you have to let grow on its own. You can't expect a child to become an adult overnight, it's gonna take time, just be patient.
