Good drawing. I'd copy it then give it a try - you could just do character in color and leave brush strokes in background as is.

This is really good. If you're going to colour it, make a copy and do it with the same brush patern you've done here, sketch style. That's really an awesome Samus though.

I think it looks really cool as is!! Im more a fan of black and white myself but some do need and look cool colored. ^_^
