i like how i can look into the eyes!

Bane awoke scr,eaming, her lungs were raw. She looked around, sweat and tears filling her face. She lay there a moment gasping for air, finally she looked around and noticed the familiar walls. She was back in her den, no demons, no darkness just stone. Bane let out a sigh but realized something was missing from this scene, Nikea. She looked around the cave but couldnt see or smell her. She began to get up to search for her new friend but she fell right back down onto the cold rock floor. Thats when she realized her whole body was covered with gashes. Blood soaked her fur and stained the floor she lay on. Bane was scared out of her wits as images of her dream came flooding back, the demons, the hands, the green wolf. Bane shook off the horrid images and shakily got back up. blood was still str,eaming from her cuts and gashes but not as bad now. As she warely left the sanctuary of her den she spotted something amidst the blood soaked floor, a tuft of fur. But thats not what worried her. What did was the color. It was green. -more-

She started shaking at the sight of the tuft of fur. /what was it doing here? could the green wolf have taken Nikea? But then ehy did i see the wolf die?/ these thhoughts swarmed her head, she couldnt sort out what was going on at all. Just as she was contemplating what was going on a howl errupted through the night making her jump slightly. Soon after, she heard other wolves from her pack join in, but there was something about the tone being used, it seemed full of scorn and anger. She walked into the starry night to investigate. As she wandered into the center of the pack boundaries she saw shaped looming in the shadows. The green in her eyes grew as all wolves eyes do in the night, she began seeing things more clearly as her eyes adjusted and noticed the shapes were wolves. Bane may have even be able to recognize some of them if they werent moving so fast /where is Sarah?/ Bane hadnt thought about her but now realized she had never returned to the den. As she took another step a growl coming from the bushes made her jump. "H-hello?" She stuttered. No reply. The silence was like glass, she couldnt see anything moving. Everyone had stopped. Just as Bane took another stepped a snarl slice through the darkness and out of the bushes shot three wolves, they charged at her and circled around. Bane looked at them mortified because it was Braik and two other wolves from her pack. They lunged at her without missing a beat and sliced wounds over her already beaten up body. Then standing back from Bane let out a bark and out of the bushes sorrounding them streamed other wolves from her pack. They growled and barke at her, giving her stares like she was the devil. Bane cried at them, "What are you doing?!?"But they only growled. Then, a yellow wolf whom was with Tanner when Bane was first found stepped up. She walked up to her so they wer muzzle to muzzle and Bane saw something frightening, her eyes were dead black. They seemed to emanate darkness -more-

she looked around and noticed that all the wolves eyes had changed from their once gold color to a soul sucking black. Indeed the wolves seemed to have no life in them what so ever. The yellow wolf snarled at her, baring her large fangs. "We should have left you for dead!" Bane was aghast, she didnt no what to do. The yellow wolf moved back into the circle of wolves and they began to circle her again, threatiningly. Every now and then one woukd lunge and catch her with their claws. She tried to dodge but Bane was never trainedin combat. She tried to follow them but their were too many of them and they were moving to fast. The shapes of the wolves began to swirl with the starry sky. Then she heard it, a howl that she would have known anywhere. Sarah. -end-
