"chosen" is quite an interesting word for people like Victor. but by whom are these people chosen? I think it's:
1. the Colors! staff, whose work is featured alongside the "chosen"
2. exclusive and semi-exclusive clubs all over the gallery.
3.pandering artists and meme-addicted users.

what I'm saying is the gallery is designed by and for the creators and for the art(ists) they like, not us.

Listen you are somebody. We all are somebody that can paint on here, Likes dont determin the art. Victor S. is great. I use to not have any likes but as time go on and u interact with the gallery more often u become someone people know. Now Im up there in my own league. Never call yourself a nobody because we a are all somebody. TECHNO-BITS QUOTE:)

Comparing yourself to other artist is creative/self-esteem su!c!de. I can do that all day, surfing DeviantART and seeing all those amazing artist with a million followers and hundres of favorites on their works, and think, 'Why do I even try? I'll never be that good.'

But then, I see my friends. And they remind me that I'm not drawing/painting for populary, but for myself and them. Art is my passion, and I'll keep working towards improvement, as well as show my friends. I care about their feedback. And popularity? I realized doing anything for popularity makes you a failure. Especially art.
Draw because you love it. No for 'likes' or 'popularity'. And, NEVER give up.

And, you're not a nobody. Don't believe the lies.

It happens to all of us dude, that's why we set goals, to get good at something. But don't get deppressed, just think about the positives of your painting.

This is how i feel with my account when i look at my other account, on my other account almost everything gets onto TWB, and it gets 100s of likes on almost all the paintings, Im not bragging, because it completely pi.sses me off because its all obviousely traced. Makes me feel real loved(sarcasm), it just shows me that people would rather give me likes for something traced, rather than for actual paintings.... im thinking about telling people that my other account was an expirement that proved to me exactly what i thought it would

its okay, i think your pictures are great! i cant draw that good... i think that to myself too about what you are saying and say i think my art is great! and i show to my friends and they love it you dont need the internet you have friends and yourself, even you dont need any one to judge your drawings! my mom says that she loved that drawing in there, and wants it as a tattoo!

When I started, I only got 2-3 likes on my art.
As I drew more and began to improve my art, as well as making friends here, I started to get noticed.
Now, some people on here even look up to me. (I feel honored!)
Don't draw for stars, draw for fun. Draw what you enjoy. Rather it be ponies, pokemon, yoshi, wolves & or other animals.
As long as you enjoy it, that's what matters.
And you're not a nobody. Don't tell yourself that you are, because you aren't.

You should draw for fun, not for likes, so many people are like, likes! likes! likes! likes! likes! *o* And just because he is famous and stuff doesn't mean he doesn't try as hard as you guys to be the best he can be, everyone can't always be the best that just wouldnt work.The people that are like he shouldn't be famous, what if YOU were as popular as Victor? Would you want people telling you you shouldn't be famous? @Lily I think the reason people like to take things out on the famous is because they can frankly. Youtube's the same, especially with Minecrafters. Sometime's I go on a large, famous server, stare up at the statues of SkyedoesMinecraft and what-not and think, 'Someday, I'll be up there. Someday...'

When I see the same artists get all the likes, and me and artists more talented than the artist and I, I get upset and depressed. Then I upload one to DA and get a llama and alot of favorites.
