mid-afternoon sketchy painting, after finding my 3ds under my bed again. Forgot how challenging it is to paint on here! Next time I'll settle starting with a lightly toned background if I wanna make it look more finished.

Hey fivescore! It does look graphic novely a bit I think too. Actually I've mostly only read manga online, rarely comics. But there's a lot of entertainment exposure, so I sorta think the lines between art styles are blurring more and more.
Lol with this I kinda went lousy, leaving the leg and skintone in my view unfinished. I did start this after looking through a concept art workbook I have - hence the title - and ended up trailing off into just sketching much the rest, because I can't follow directions from a book. Working from scratch on here is an akward uphill battle. I'll bring in a drawing on tablet to work unto here.
