That's pretty cool! I was a bit of a Bionicle fan back in the day, and I think you did a great job illustrating this one. Did you freehand it, or did you use a picture as a base?

great detail...wonderful work. please post how you managed to get the eyes to glow further from his head...is it on a separate plane? would love to know!

I really like this painting. It gives off a robust feeling that blends the 3d effect well. I also think the sand was well made.

answers: Yes, the eye glow was done on a separate layer.
I drew this freehand, no ref image, but the model is a real one that I made.
