[Reply] Well I certainly never had anyone teach me. I'm strictly self-taught. I guess it could help that the arts run though my family. On both my parents sides relatives can either play and compose music well, build and design different structures, and paint or draw pretty well, too. I know I'm not the best, but I guess I fall into the art part the most. :)
