[Colors referenced] Happy birthday Yoshi Ringo! (Also happy birthday to cindylol and my little cousin) Thank you so much for including me in the collab, it was awesome. I started this in the middle of last week, but I had so much going on that I could barely finish it in time.. well I suppose it is the 11th now, so I am a bit late. Hooray for lazy backgrounds! Ack! I uploaded it without the dogtags! Derp.

No, don't say that about your art (even if it was a clever reference), I'm actually rather jealous of your lineart style artwork. I have a terribly shaky hand, and I'm not very neat. In my older drawings where I did draw with lines, it would take me hours just to go back and erase along the edges of the lines to smooth them out. I wish I could draw like you. :P
To answer your question of how I shade, I can kind of just imagine how shadows appear depending on the light-source, and I explained my process in a previous comment in reply to Athens.
