just let them know having friends on the 3ds is not bad, because nobody knows who you really are unless you tell them, and you can talk to them and swap note too, not video chat, and ask them to get thier own 3ds

well me personally think that u should listen to them, They mean well for u. If u want a friend on Colors!3D, show them how they gallery look to your parents so they know who might be a good person. ps. Paintings Artists make tell you a lot about who drew/painted them. :)
