In the song, I like to think of it as Shion remembering everything she did in.... Previous arcs.... and promising to herself that it won't happen again, and so she waits quietly for Satoshi, always by his side. I tried for a sad but determined look.

The tones, the shading the lips! Heck the overall expression is truely sad. I can just see her with those... memories flashing before her. (This is Higurashi no Giri Ki right? When they Cry?)
