Klokworker, welfare started way back during the depression. During a war that you weren't even thought of yet. It was tempory, not a permanent source of income. Unemployment does not mean you get welfare too. There are millions of people who abuse the system that I have to pay for. It's for people to help them get back on their feet, get a JOB, then get off of it. It's not a permanent source of income. Millions of people abuse it which really pis.ses off a lot of hard working Americans.

I've seen people who could genuinely use it not qualify and people who are able-bodied use every excuse why they can't work. I'm literally supporting a bunch of them right now....
